Review: His Majesty’s Temporary Bride *

So a little disclaimer before I start. I worked on this post Mills & Boon Insider. This essentially means I was given a list of books and able to pick which one I wanted to read. My views on this book are completely my own and the truth.

His Majesty's Temporary Bride is that latest book to be released by Annie West under Mills & Boon Modern.

This story focus's on Cat and Alex, two different people. Alex is actually King Alexander of Bengaria, while Cat is a feisty bodyguard. This story is about romance, chemistry and a little bending of the truth.

What is great about this book which sets it apart from other romance novels, is the main lady Cat. Cat is a strong bodyguard, a job not usually given to the female lead in a book. Not only has she got a strong job role but she is also a very sporty lady who is more suited to parcours than to royal balls.

This is a well written story, that makes you want to reach the end. A great thing is that it also sets you up for a connecting story called 'The Greeks Forbidden Princess'. To find out whose story that is and how it connects, you will just have to read the book. I can tell you this much, I will definitely be buying this book.

Film Review: Fifty Shades Freed

As you guys probably already know Fifty Shades Freed is the final part in the best selling Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy by E.L. James. It was finally released on Friday 9th February 2018, and as a fan I went and saw it that night with my good friend.

I will admit I had read some pretty bad reviews before this movie came out, but I prefer to make my own opinion and I had been waiting for this movie for nearly a year. I figured this movie wasn't going to have glowing reviews since none of them had. The words 'Lack of Chemistry' have been thrown around a lot in relation to this series, but as a fan of the book series this film was beyond my expectations.

I will admit they did miss out part of the book, but a lot happens in that final book. However they may have missed somethings out, they did add a new scene. This film was great at ending everything in a nice little bow. Here's a hint if you do decide to see this movie, make sure you stay until after the credits roll. There is a nice little scene at the beginning of the credits that really finishes the trilogy right.

One of the best parts about this movie was that Ana finally grew a back bone that was severely missing in the first two movies. Now I know that Ana wasn't meant to have a back bone in the first two movies as she came into this series inexperienced. However now she finally has found her back bone, this really worked in the movie and in their relationship.

The soundtrack to this film is really good and I have to admit I was not a fan of the song ‘For You’ by Rita Ora and Liam Payne. However now I have heard where they have put it in the movie, I kinda love it.

Let me know if you decide to see this movie and what you think.

Review: Wyoming Winter by Diana Palmer *

So a little disclaimer before I start. I worked on this post Mills & Boon Insider. This essentially means I was given a list of books and able to pick which one I wanted to read. My views on this book are completely my own and the truth.

Wyoming Winter is the latest book to be released by Diana Palmer. I have to admit I love this author and am currently working my way through her whole collection!

So this book is about J.C Calhoun and Colie Jackson. Now these two don't follow the normal romance rules because they have a rather interesting history. Colie is a mum, who always protects those she loves. J.C on the other hand  only cares about his ranch. However fate has other ideas.

This book is full of romance, misunderstandings and upset. The best thing about Diana Palmer's books is that she gets you invested in her story and the characters. A prime example of this is the fact that this book involves a rancher/businessman called Ren Colter. Ren has his own story in 'Wyoming Brave'. Then that book is connected to another and so on.

I found that even my emotions got involved when reading this story to the point that I may have even shed a tear. Whether that was because of sadness or happiness you will just have to read the book to find out.

A warning about this book. Once you have read one Diana Palmer book there is no telling whether that book will be your last.

Until Next Time
