Review: Bad Reputation By J.C.Harroway*

'They’ve opened Pandora’s box…

And there's no going back!

Sultry sex with my best friend was not on the itinerary for my cousin’s Maldives wedding. But once I discover Neve’s bag of sex toys—and catch her using one—I'm past the point of no return! Neve made a ‘pleasure pact’ with her friends to explore her every sensual fantasy…with me. But will a tropical fling cost me the only person who truly matters?'

Bad Reputation is the second book in J.C Harroway's Pleasure Pact Series and that series title is 100% accurate description of this series. This book concentrates on best friends Neve Grayson and Oliver Cotterill and is set in the dream location of the Maldives.

Now one thing you have to say about this book is that it doesn't make you wait for the good stuff, no this book jumps straight into the good stuff. By good stuff I mean the oh so sexy scenes, that we all love and enjoy reading. Now J.C Harroway knows how to write a sexy scene whether the person is solo or in a pair and this is demonstrated in this book.

I loved the fact that as you are being told about the present you also get flashes into the past, this is essential considering our main characters are best friends. You get to find out how they met and the past which has ultimately created their present.

Neve and Grayson had chemistry from the moment you meet them and I am talking sizzling chemistry. This chemistry is even more obvious when they go back and forth. This makes the book completely addicting and meant that by the time I hit Chapter 2 I was hooked! This is the kind of book that the moment you put it down, it will make you want to pick it straight back up.

Overall I completely adored this book from start to finish. Now one of the best things is you do not need to read the entire series, but trust once you read one you will want the rest. This story left me wanting more from the Author and built my need to read the third book in this series! This book came out TODAY and you can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: The Casanova Papers By Kate Zarreli*

'Ellie Murphy takes a contract teaching English at a school in Venice, Italy. There she meets the sexy enigmatic Professor Piero Contarini, from an ancient Venetian family, and agrees to help him in his work curating a new edition of the memoirs of the famous seducer, Giacomo Casanova. Taking their task seriously, they start to enact his adventures with each other, ecstatically revealing their own kinks as they do so. But who is watching them from the shadowy alleyways of Venice'

This story is about Ellie and Piero and if you like a good sexy scene, you will not be disappointed in this book. However before we talk sexy scenes lets talk the other aspects of this book. It is set in Venice and the descriptions of the different locations are divine! They make you want to go out and book a trip to Venice just so you can visit the different locations. Although after reading this book you may feel like you have already been there. Not only that but the different parts of the book where you learn about Giacomo Casanova are very interesting.

Ellie is a brilliant female character who knows exactly what and who she wants. So when there is Instant chemistry between the two characters, its really no surprise. Now the sexy scenes are not your typical sexy scenes but they are still oh so sexy! All the sexy scenes come in different shapes so there will be something for everyone!

So let's tell you a little bit about the Author Kate Zarrelli, she is a romance writer who also pens erotica under the name of Katherine Mezzacappa. Originally from Ireland Kate now lives with her Italian husband and two teenage sons in Carrara Northern Tuscany. Kate also write histroical, erotic, feel-good and paranormal fiction set all over Europe. In her spare time she volunteers with a used book charity which she is a founding member.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Kate and it was easy to read. It was also easy to enjoy. The mix of sexy scenes and scenes of learning easily balance out. This book is out now and you can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: Flying Solo By Zoe May*

'Rachel Watson has it all worked out. By 30, she’s ticked off most of the goals on her Life List. She’s a home owner, a partner at her law firm, she has a gorgeous boyfriend, lots of hobbies and loads of good friends. The only thing that’s missing is a ring on her finger.
According to her Life List, Rachel should be getting hitched around now, so when her boyfriend, Paul, plans a romantic date, Rachel’s pretty confident he’s going to propose. Except Paul has other ideas. He’s jetting off to India to find himself.
Distraught, Rachel doesn’t know what to do. Not one to easily admit defeat, she embarks on a mission to win him back.
Flying solo to India is definitely not part of Rachel's plans, but could her trip teach her unexpected lessons about love, life and herself? Could she realise that perhaps her Life List wasn’t exactly what she wanted, after all?'

This story consists of 19 Chapters and is about Rachel Watson, who is a very relatable character. She has her life mapped out in what she calls her 'Life List'. I found this fact very relatable. I don't think everyone will admit it but I think there are things we all want to get done by a certain age.

The story is well written and easy to read. By the time Rachel got to India this reader was addicted and didn't want to put the book down. The descriptions of India and Rachel's experience there makes the reader feel like they are alongside Rachel in her journey. This feeling is intensified when you realize this is the kind of book that stays with you long after you finish reading the book.

Now let me tell you a little bit about the Author Zoe May, who lives in southeast London writing romantic comedies. Since she was a teenager she dreamt of being a novelist. Before her debut novel (Perfect Match) came out, Zoe worked in journalism and copywriting. Zoe chose to write a novel about dating, after experiencing the London dating scene first hand and seeing its endless supply of weird and wonderful material. When she isn't writing you can find Zoe walking her dog, painting and reading. She adores animals, meaning that if she isn't taking a picture of a vegan meal you can find her tweeting about the dairy industry. Zoe is half Greek/ half Irish and can whip up a mean baklava. After spending several years working as a fashion copywriter, Zoe has an encyclopedia knowledge of handbags to the point that she could win Mastermind if it was her specialist subject. Zoe also has a thing for India, swimming, horror films, hip hop and Radiohead.

Overall I enjoyed the this book immensely. It caused a book hangover which basically means long after I finished this book it was still in my head and still had me thinking. I highly recommend you guys read this book. You can get your copy HERE.

Review: Guilty Pleasure By Taryn Leigh Taylor*

'He has a new lawyer…

And she’s far from innocent!

After Wes Brennan is arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, he’s bailed out by hotshot lawyer Vivienne Grant: the woman whose heart he broke years ago. The catch? He must spend all day—and night—with his gorgeous ex while she proves his innocence. The pair soon forgive old betrayals and give in to reawakened desires…but when the investigation reveals new secrets, will their passionate affair survive the fallout? '

This book holds 21 Chapters(+Epilogue) and tells the story of Wes Brannon and Vivienne Grant. Now this story is part of the Business of Pleasure series, it is book 4. The other three books are called Forbidden Pleasure, Secret Pleasure and Wicked Pleasure. Although I have these I have not read them yet, so you do not need to read the rest of the series to read this book.

From the moment you meet Wes and Viv you can tell they have chemistry and not just a little bit. This chemistry is very obvious when you get to the first 'sexy' scene. I mean the scene will leave you hot under the collar and if you liked Fifty shades or the sexy scenes that are just pure delicious to read you will love the ones in this book. The scenes are pure perfection and you will enjoy them.

From the beginning there is hints that Wes and Viv have a past and this information intrigues the reader making them want to know more. This intrigues keeps you reading to find out what happened in the past that is brought up. As well as the past the two also have some really amazing word play that goes on, which just adds to their interaction.

There are also twist and turns in this book which just adds to the list of things that keep the reader intrigued and reading the book. This book is amazing and will leave the readers wanting more from the author.

Let me tell you a little bit about the Author Taryn, she likes dinosaurs, bridges and space, both the personal and final-frontier variety. Taryn shamelessly indulges in cliches, most notably her Starbucks addiction, her shoe hoard and her penchant for falling in Lust with fictional men with great abs. She also loves books, which set her on the crazy path of writing one of her own in the first place.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series. More than that I can't wait to read more from this author.I know for a fact that I will definitely be reading the rest of the series. My advice to you guys is that you may want to clear your schedule as this book will make you want to finish it the day you start it.You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: The Scoundrel's Bartered Bride by Virginia Heath*

'Marriage…To the highest bidder

Lady Lydia Barton cannot seem to avoid Owen Wolfe since he returned after being wrongly transported for stealing her family’s jewels! But Lydia has more pressing problems―like her impending arranged marriage. Until Owen makes her father a counter-offer for her hand. Is Owen purely after her society connections? Or does Lydia dare hope that the charming stable boy she once loved is still within her ruthless, wealthy new husband?'

This is the story of Lady Lydia Barton and Owen Wolfe, and is told over 25 Chapters. Their story is interesting as at the beginning of the story it is hinted that the two characters have a past that hasn't been dealt with. This past is intriguing to the reader as it makes you want to continue reading to find out what happens in that past.

This story is well written and the Chapter lengths are a perfect size. There is a question that goes throughout the entire book that the reader will ask them. That question is 'Will they let their past define their future?' You will be happy to know that the question is answered by the end of the book.I found that by the time I hit the double digit chapters I was addicted to the story.

Let me tell you a little bit about the Author Virginia Heath. When she was a little girl it took her ages to fall asleep, so she would make up stories in her head to help pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories got more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace her insomnia and start writing them down. Despite that, it still takes her forever to fall asleep.

Overall I really enjoyed this book by Virginia and just like her others I fell in love with characters and the story. I really want to own more by this Author and I am sure you guys will too, once you start reading her books. You can get your copy HERE. There is also a Giveaway attached to this blog where you can win 2 e-copies of The Scoundrel's Bartered Bride. You can enter this competition HERE. Don't forget to read the Terms and Conditions: Worldwide entries welcome.  Please enter using the Rafflecopter box below.  The winner will be selected at random via Rafflecopter from all valid entries and will be notified by Twitter and/or email.
