Blog Tour: Playing the Duke's Fiancee by Amanda McCabe*

'A pretend proposal
For the unconventional heiress
When American heiress Violet Wilkins crosses paths with William, Duke of Charteris, she has extremely low expectations of the “Duke of Bore.” But when this seemingly stuffy aristocrat offers her escape from a dreadful arranged marriage, she leaps at the chance! To her surprise, the arresting Charles whisks Vi into an exhilarating make-believe romance. And as she gets to know the man behind the title, she can’t help wanting more…'

This is the story of Violet and William, which is told over the course of 21 Chapters. The book is full of moments that readers will love. Not only that the characters themselves are well developed but readers will be able to see how much effort the author has put into developing them.

One thing that really stands out in this book is the descriptions and not just the descriptions of the scenery. Which are outstanding, and to the point that readers will be able to visualize the beautiful places where this book takes place. The Character descriptions are brilliant. They are detailed and readers will be able to visualize them just like a movie that's playing for them.

Now let me tell you about the Author Amanda McCabe, who wrote her first romance at the tender age of sixteen, it was a vast historical epic starring all her friends as characters. It was written in secret during her algebra class; her parents wondered why math was not her strongest subject. She may have never used algebra since but her books have been nominated for many awards including the RTA Award, the Romantic Times BOOKReviews Reviewers' Choice Award, the Booksellers Best, the National readers Choice Award and the Holt Medallion. She currently lives in Santa Fe with a Poodle, a cat, her wonderful husband and far too many books and royal memorabilia collections. When she is not reading or writing, you can find Amanda taking dance classes, collecting cheesy travel souvenirs and watching the Food Network (even though she doesn't cook). Amanda also writes for Grand Central Publishing as Laurel McKee, the Elizabethan Mystery series as Amanda Carmack and the Manor Cat Mystery Series as Eliza Casey.

Overall this is a well written book full of scenes and moments that readers will gobble up. Better yet this is the second book in the 'Dollar Duchess' Series. Make sure you check out the others in this series, I know they will be added to my TBR. You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: Elle's A to Z of Love by Claire Huston*

'Haileybrook, a beautiful village in the peaceful Cotswolds countryside, is most people’s idea of heaven on earth.

Born and raised in this small slice of paradise, Elle Bea can’t wait to leave.
It should be easy, but every time she packs her bags for exotic adventures, old loves and loyalties pull her back.
Will Elle be forced to forget her dreams of far-flung places and epic romance, or can she grab one last chance to have it all?
An uplifting, romantic story about friends, family and the relationships that make a place a home.'

This is the story of Elle and is told over the course of 42 Chapters, which are spilt up into 5 parts. Each of these 5 parts cover a different year. It is very clear what each year is, this comes in handy when the story takes the reader back to the past. It is clear for the reader knowing exactly what year it is they are reading.

One thing to note about this book is that it is very easy to get stuck into. This is the kind of book where readers will start reading and the next time they look at the chapter, they discover they have actually read multiple chapters without knowing. The book is hard to put down, so readers will no doubt find themselves finishing it within one sitting.

Now let me tell you about the Author Claire Huston, who lives in Warwickshire with her husband and two children. Claire's debut novel, Art and Soul is a heart-warming contemporary romance, and was published in 2020. Elle's A to Z of Love is her second novel. A keen amateur baker, she enjoys making cakes, biscuits and brownies almost as much as eating them. You can find recipes for over a hundred sweet treats at clairehuston.co.uk This is also where she talks about and reviews books.

Overall this is a brilliant book. Just like her debut novel this book is that both of them have a really good romance that readers will get addicted to. This book will leave the reader waiting with anticipation to see what Claire is going to come out with next. You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: Jenn Reinvented by Grayson Avery*

'Jennifer Colby-Kittler is the boss. They even call her The Jenneral. But married life is hard, even when you call the shots.
When the sizzle in her and husband Russ' romance goes AWOL, Jenn calls in the big guns. They're going to forge ahead and have a second child whether Russ likes it or not. The only problem is that Russ is leaning toward not.
When the Kittler's new baby mission doesn't go according to Jenn's plan, the tension grows, and a mutiny in their marriage unfolds. Jenn's sister (the lovable Kait from Project Kaitlyn, book one in the Sweet Water Circle series) and friends intervene, forcing her to explore her inner being by attending yoga classes hosted by a dreamy new instructor. Jenn reluctantly agrees, needing to learn to how to let go of control before a civil war leads to divorce. But when the guru falls for her (desperately wanting to also explore her inner being) and an old flame finds out that Jenn's marriage is under attack and attempts to plant his flag, Jenn doesn't know which path to choose.
Can Jenn learn to let go before her life spirals out of control?  Should she save her marriage before it's too late, start over with someone new, or go it alone?'

This is the second book in the 'Sweet Water Circle' Series and concentrates on Kait's sister Jenn. Now this story is told over the course of 38 chapters which is a little bit longer than the first book in this series.

Jenn's story is alot different from her sisters, not only because they are at different points in their life. But mainly because this story will leave readers both weeping while grabbing for tissue and the next minute they will be giggling their hearts out. The story is full of moments that tug at the heart strings, while the next moment will leave the reader giggling at the relatable events happening in Jenn's life.

From the very beginning of this book, the story starts strong immediately getting readers intrigued in Jenn's life and her struggles. It grabs the readers attention, to the point readers will find it hard to put down. It is addictive, not only the storyline but the characters as well. Every reader will be able to find a character they can relate to or they know someone who is like them.

One of the best things about this series, is although the main focus in this book is Jenn and her journey. Readers do get a chance to catch up with Kaitlyn and Hunter from book one. Also characters such as Taylor and Shelly make a return appearance.

Now let me tell you about the Author, Grayson Avery who wrote The Sweet Water Circle Series. A romantic comedy series that focuses on childhood friends in their 30s and 40s as the help each other navigate the stormy waters of dating, marriage, divorce and a whole lot of inappropriate, naughty and downright hysterical situations.

Overall this book will leave you unwilling to wait to get your hands on the third installment in this series. Readers will be unable to put this down and spend the entire time weeping or crying. Either one will leave them wanting more from this author. You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: Bubblegum and Blazers by Isabella May*

'When Ali, Blake, Charlotte, and Grant sign contracts to star in a Back to School reality TV show, LOVE is the very last thing on their minds:
Ali flies to the UK from New Zealand, intrigued by the golden opportunity to advance her amateur social media influencer career.
Blake carpe diems the moment with both hands after a constant flurry of bad luck.
Charlotte jumps at the chance to relive her sporting glories of the past - and take a hiatus from her humdrum marriage.
And Grant is just relieved to get away from his failing second-hand music shop.
But once the advances hit their bank accounts, it soon becomes apparent that producer Jock’s Pied Piper-style offer to change their lives is distinctly lacking in sherbet fizz!
In fact, the only sweet thing about this gig for the former students and the rest of their Bubblegum and Blazers competitors, may just be the packet of candy in their pockets.
Re-enacting their past is a rollercoaster of revelations, retaliation, and unlikely romance in a gold-fish bowl of mayhem where Raphael (Agony Uncle of the school sweet shop) and his rhubarb and custards reign supreme...'

This is the story of Blake, Ali, Charlotte and Grant who have all signed up to a new reality tv show. The story is told over the course of 30 Chapters with a Prologue & Epilogue that perfectly begins and ends this tale.

One thing to note is that this book has very clear changes of character point of view. No readers can be confused to who point of view they are now seeing. Each chapter gives you a new point of view. This results in the reader getting the full picture of what is going on throughout the story.

This book is perfect for anyone who loves Reality TV, this book is basically a reality tv show in written format. The descriptions within this book are also top notch. Isabella describes things like sweets in such a way that not only can the reader picture them but also they will want to visit there nearest sweet shop to get their own supply.

Now let me tell you about the Author Isabella May, who lives in the mostly sunny Andalusia, Spain with her husband, daughter and son. Isabella is creatively inspired by the mountains and the sea. She grew up on Glastonbury's ley lines and she is unable to completely shake off her spiritual inner child, she is a Law of Attraction fanatic, as well as a Pranic Healer.  After a degree in Modern Languages and European Studies at UWE, Bristol (and a year working abroard in Bordeaux and Stuttgart). Isabella bagged an extremely jammy and fascination job in children's publishing, selling foreign rights for novelty, board, pop-up and non fiction books all over the world; in every language from Icelandic to Korean, Bahasa Indonesian to Papiamento! All of this fuelled her curiosity and love of international food and travel - both feature extensively in her cross- genre novels, fused with a dollop of romcom, and a sprinkle of magic realism.

Overall Isabella's book is full with tasty sweets and relatable characters, that readers are sure to love. Not only that but beware this book also has its fare share of twists, that will certainly keep readers gripped. You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: The Marquess Next Door by Virginia Heath*

'A dashing new neighbour…
Temptation on her doorstep!
To avoid an unwanted suitor at a ball, Hope Brookes asks another gentleman to rescue her. He obliges – with a surprisingly passionate kiss! Revealed as her sinfully handsome new neighbour, Lucius, Marquess of Thundersley, they forge a friendship over their balconies. It’s refreshing that Lucius is more interested in her writer dreams than her looks, so why can’t she stop thinking about that kiss?'

This is the story of Hope and Lucius (Luke) who have verbal interactions which show what is to come in the story even if the main characters don't know it yet. Their story is told over the course of 24 Chapters and is the second book in the 'Talk of Beau Mode' series which focuses on the Brooke sisters. Hope's sister Faith is the subject of Book one and the upcoming third book will be centered on Charity.

A running theme throughout this book is the verbal foreplay that the main characters enjoy in their interactions. This alone will keep readers gripped to this story let alone the other aspects of this book.

The story is well written and Virginia has a brilliant habit of writing strong and ambitious female characters. Hope is no different, she knows exactly what she wants to do with her life and how she wants to make her mark. Although her path to her dream is not the easiest, she is strong enough to keep to her path to get exactly where she wants to go.

Readers will find it hard to put this book down, as every single aspect of this story will call for readers to continue until they have finished the entire book. This book is also full historical knowledge which is enough to get readers interested in that period of time.

Let me tell you a little bit about the Author Virginia Heath. When she was a little girl it took her ages to fall asleep, so she would make up stories in her to help pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories got more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace her insomnia and start writing them down. Despite that, it still takes her forever to fall asleep.

Overall this book is fab for all readers, whether you have read book one or not. The greatest thing about this series is that all the books are standalone but be ware once you have read one Brooke sister you will be left wanting to find out about the others. One thing I know for certain the third book in this series is definitely going on my TBR list! You can get you copy HERE.
