'A dream job, two handsome men, one destructive act. Will Freya's opportunity of a lifetime end in tears?
When Freya leaves her publishing job in London to be a barefoot bookseller in the Maldives, it's the push she needs to move on from her sadness and reignite her passion for life.
While resort owner Zander is charming, it's handsome dive instructor Aaron who befriends her when she needs it most. But all is not what it seems and there's trouble brewing in paradise.
Taking a chance on happiness is harder than she imagined. Can Freya let go of her heartache and allow herself to fall in love again? '
This is the story of Freya, Zander and Aaron. Although if we are being honest this is Freya's journey. The story is told over the course of 31 Chapters and book 5 in 'A Romantic Escape' series. The book is very relatable right from the very beginning.
From the very beginning of this story where Freya finds her dream job opportunity, the story intrigues the reader. Ensuring that they continue to read this story until they reach the very end. Although in the name of honesty this reader did find it hard to get truely stuck in until the chapters hit double digits. However the moment those chapter numbers hit double digits, this reader couldn't put it down.
Now you can't talk about this book without mentioning the dreamy location of the Maldives. The descriptions given by this author about this idyllic location means that readers will be able to visualize the locations. To the point that they could almost believe they were on the beach with Freya.
Now let me tell you about the Author Kate Frost, who is the best-selling author of romantic escape novels (The Baobab Beach Retreat, A Starlit Summer, The Greek Heart and The Amsterdam Affair),character -driven women's fiction (The Butterfly Storm series and Beneath the Apple Blossom), and Time sifters, a time travel adventure trilogy for children.
