In this Claiming the Ferrington Empire story, Bree has escaped the city to heal her heart in a village bakery. And then notorious billionaire Theo walks through the door. The man behind the headlines is charming, but intriguingly cynical about love. Accepting his invitation to Paris might be a mistake—or the best decision she’s ever made…'
This is the second story in Racheal's short series 'Claiming the Ferrington Empire'. Although this book is part of a series you can read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading Sebastian and Flick's story anyway. In my opinion you will probably want to when you finish this book anyway.
This is the story of the Theo (Sebastian's brother) and Bree, which is told over the course of 15 Chapters + Epilogue. Though these chapters go quite quickly because as I have come to expect from Rachael's books it is very easy to get stuck into.
One of the reasons that it is easy to get stuck into and that it can be read without reading the first book is because of the crossover. Now this crossover gives the reader just enough information to know the full story, if you haven't read book one but as someone who has it gave me insight into sections that happened during the timeline of the first book but weren't discussed in the first book. Now by no means does this take away from the first book. This just gives the reader more to love.
This book starts well, grabbing the readers attention as well as showing them how this unlikely pair met. Which is brilliant for the reader as they get s full look into the relationship that Theo and Bree have. The get to watch as they go from lust at first sight, to the teasing and more.
So let me tell you about the Author Rachael Stewart, she adores conjuring up stories for both Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press. The books vary from heart-warmingly romantic to wildly erotic. Rachael is living her own dream of being a full time writer, even though her degree was in Business Studies and she spent many years in the corporate world. Originally from Wales, Rachael now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children. When she isn't wrapped up in her children, you can find her glued to her laptop or enjoying the great outdoors seeking inspiration.
Until Next Time
