Blog Tour: Mistletoe and the Mouse by Elsa Simonetti*

'Join Belle and James as they visit Mickey Mouse for a sparkling holiday season at Disneyland Paris.

Belle has been numb since her mother died, and she can’t face Christmas at home without her. Instead she books a surprise holiday to her “happy place” – the Magic Kingdom. But her boyfriend James has problems of his own. He doesn’t “do Disney” and what will his mother think of him missing their family Christmas to go to Disneyland with Belle?

A festive romance with a sprinkling of pixie dust.'

This is the story of Belle and James, and a thing to note is that there are no chapters in this book. It is a refreshing change and readers will love the change in format. One thing that stands out about this book apart from the Disneyland Paris setting is that it is interesting and intriguing from the get go.

One theme in this book is Belle trying to move on from her mother's death. This is very much a different theme compared to other books especially when it is combined with Disney. Belle is a true believer in Disney magic whereas James, not so much. James is more of a practical, rugby loving guy. There relationship is a little bit like opposites attract, but they really do work together.

This story is chock full of great descriptions that will make the reader truly believe they are experiencing Disneyland Paris. Readers will come away from this book wanting to visit Disneyland Paris, if they haven't voyaged there already. The story is also full of Disney references that all Disney fans will truly love  and enjoy when they discover them.

Now let me tell you about the Author Elsa Simonetti, who was born the same year as Walt Disney World though many miles away in the north of England. The earliest Disney memory she has is crying while watching Bambi at the Saturday morning cinema club! Her husband introduced her to the magic of Disneyland Paris when her own children were little. That was when she became obsessed and proving Walt Disney's own belief ' Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age and dreams are forever'. That was the seed of this story - Disneyland is not just for children, but anyone who is young at heart. Elsa also writes romantic women's friction under the name of Liz Taylorson.

Overall I absolutely loved this story, not only because I have my own obsession with Disney. This is a brilliant Christmas read full of love, heartwarming moments and Disney Magic. This will not be the last book I read by Elsa or Liz. Both non Disney fans and Disney fans alike will enjoy this story. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Tempted By The Tycoon's Proposal by Rachael Stewart*

'A second chance…

With the single dad?

When hotelier Sophia Lambert finds billionaire Jack McGregor’s runaway daughter, a thank you dinner sounds harmless. Until Sophia finds herself tantalizingly attracted to Jack… The deeply desirable single dad re-awakens long-buried emotions in Sophia, but his jet-set life is beckoning. Unless Sophia can tempt him with her own proposal: to keep his feet on the ground…'

This is Rachael's debut Novel for True Romance and what a debut it is. It is the story of Sophia and Jack which is told over 16 Chapters (+Epilogue). This story is gripping from beginning to end. Readers will not be able to put this down from the moment they pick it up. Well at least not until they have read every single word available.

Sophia is very much a hard working, attentive woman who is great with kids. Jack is a hard working, determined brilliant dad. They have alot of things in common including a past that they have dealt with in a similar sort of way. Add into the mix  an adorable little girl who can be stubborn as well as use to get what she wants. You wind up with a story that is simply put brilliant.

The descriptions used in this book are so good, the reader will truly believe that either they have been to these places or they can at least envision the place but also the people. Not only that it is clear to see throughout the book when the point of view switches from Sophia to Jack.

So let me tell you about the Author Rachael Stewart, she adores conjuring up stories for both Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press. The books vary from heartwarmingly romantic to wildly erotic. Rachael is living her own dream of being a full time writer, even though her degree was in Business Studies and she spent many years in the corporate world. Originally from Wales, Rachael now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children. When she isn't wrapped up in her children, you can find her glued to her laptop or enjoying the great outdoors seeking inspiration.

Overall this is a brilliant story, that readers will truly adore. It is the kind of book where before you are aware of what is happening you are on Chapter 5 completely and utterly addicted. This may be Rachael Stewart's first True Romance but hopefully it is not her last. You can get your copy HERE. Blog Tour: Stolen Kiss with her Billionaire Boss by Susan Meier*

'Christmas has arrived…

And she’s spending it with her boss!

Erin is intrigued when Hugo Harrington asks for her help on a hotel renovation in London, just weeks before Christmas! But Erin soon discovers how personal this project is to her brooding boss. Working with him, Erin uncovers a side to Hugo she’s never seen. And then a stolen, snowbound kiss changes everything…'

This is the story of Erin and Hugo, and it is told over 14 Chapters (+Epilogue). It is set in London at Christmas with scenery that readers will adore. From the outset of this book, it is clear to see the love that Erin has for her family. In fact Familial love is one of the main themes in this book beside love and Christmas.

From the moment you meet Erin and Hugo, it is clear to the reader that there is definitely something between the two characters. I wouldn't say it was love at the beginning but there is definitely something there. Erin is very much an independent and practical women who thinks long term when it comes to relationships. Hugo on the other hand is family orientated, driven and short term relationship thinker. Now although this is how I would describe them at the beginning, the same description can't be said by the time you finish this book.

Now let me tell you about the Author, Susan Meier who is a lover of great stories and a fabulous turn of phase. She found a great home at Mills & Boon where you find stories that touch the heart. Her bliss was found when Harlequin published her first book and she hasn't look back since. Susan is wife to the best guy on the planet and mom to three children. She loves to read but not quite as much as her love of writing. Thank to the internet and Youtube, research is much more fun.

Overall I adored this story as well as the change in main theme. With Family being the main them in this book it is a refreshing change and perfect for the holiday season. One of the brilliant things about this book is that you meet Hugo's brother Jay and Sister Sally. Both Jay and Sally have their own stories called Christmas Reunion in Paris and Their Royal Baby Gift. Those are two books that this reader will be adding to her kindle in the near future. You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: A Real Royal Christmess by Linda West*

'When a broken-hearted accountant meets a prince fleeing his arranged marriage, fate bonds them together at a remote ski lodge in Vermont.
Jess is trying to win back her boyfriend, who dumped her for being boring. Jamie is trying to complete his father's bucket list before he takes the Crown. Both of them are hiding who they truly are, and when the truth is discovered, it's a real royal Christmess!'

This is the story of Jess and Jamie and it is told over 38 Chapters and an Epilogue. One thing to know about this book is that it is engaging from the get go. It has quite short chapters which just makes devouring this story all the more easier. The story is set in Kissing Bridge Vermont and the place sounds absolutely heavenly.

Jess is cautious where Jamie is trying to live life to the full as much as he can. Although on the surface these characters seem very different they are in fact have more in common than the reader thinks. Well at least until you get into the book and knowing the person inside the character.

The interactions between Jess and Jamie, are simply put brilliant. They will go from funny happy banter to teasing each other in the space of paragraphs. This evovling relationship keeps the reader interested as you never know how they will interact at the next meeting. Another brilliant thing is that as their story evolves the reader is able to see the feelings between these two grow and change right before their eyes.

Now let me tell you a little bit more about the Author, Linda West who is the best selling author of the enchanting and adorable "Christmas Kisses and Cookies'. A delightful series of holiday romances all based around the town of Kissing Bridge and the magical Landers sisters. They are the reigning blue ribbon cookie queens thanks to their mothers' 'special' recipe book. Linda is also the owner of Mayberry, which is a restaurant located in Malibu where the likes of Tom Hanks and Anthony Hopkins are regulars. Her recipes can be found sprinkled throughout her fiction books, which delights her fans. Linda has recently ventured into the mystery and humor genre with Death by Crockpot, the first in her latest series. In this new series, Linda takes her favorite known characters from Kissing Bridge and throws them into some side-splitting funny adventures.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and it is a perfect Christmas read that is filled with love. This book is easy to read in one sitting and readers will love everything from the setting to the relatable characters. I know for myself this will not be the last Linda West book this reader has. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Unwrapping The Best Man By Rachael Stewart*

'She's spicing up Christmas

…starting with the best man!

After lusting after brawny, gorgeous Jackson Black for six years – Caitlin’s craving is finally satisfied on the deliciously naughty night of their best friends’ wedding. But just as Cait thinks she's broken through Jackson's fiercely-guarded defenses, he leaves during the night. Now Cait's ready to play dirty. Because the only thing worse than a sexy Grinch stealing your heart is if he breaks it…'

This is the latest book by the amazing Rachael Stewart and it certainly does not disappoint. This book is actually connected to one of her others by the name of Getting Dirty, check out my review HERE. This book follows Jackson and Caitlin, their story is told over 14 Chapters (+Epilogue) and what a story it is.

One thing readers need to know about this book is that the sexual chemistry that these two characters have is off the charts. I mean Jackson and Caitlin have some serious chemistry and the sexy scenes that we all know and love are on a level of their own. Jackson can be described as tattooed and hot with a bit of a mysterious past. Whereas Caitlin is gorgeous, firery, family loving and possibly insecure.

Now the book is not just full of the oh so sexy scenes, it also is full of Character interactions that can be described as on point. It does switch point of views between Jackson and Caitlin, which gives the reader an insight into how both characters are really feeling during the interactions. The reader also gets to see Coco and Ash again as they are a part of this story.  However it does not leave the reader confused if they have not read the first book.

So let me tell you about the Author Rachael Stewart, she adores conjuring up stories for both Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press. The books vary from heart-warmingly romantic to wildly erotic.

Overall this book is just as brilliant as you would expect from Rachael. It goes from lip biting sexy scenes to possible tears, as this will get your emotions involved. Though I feel like warning future readers that once you start this book you will not want to put it down. Readers will most likely finish this book in one sitting because it is that addicting. You can get your copy HERE.

There is also a Giveaway attached to this blog where you can be in with the chance to win an e-copy of this book. You can enter HERE. Blog Tour: A Little Christmas Hope By Kathryn Freeman*

'Newly promoted head teacher Anna Dalton needs a Christmas miracle – and fast! After years of sitting through excruciatingly dull Christmas productions, complete with crying children and sleeping parents, she’s determined Riddlescomb Primary School will put on a Nativity to remember.
Enter bad boy actor Dan Ramsey, recently axed from the lead role in a TV drama and in desperate need of cleaning up his image or he’ll never work again.
Dan can flash those heart-stopping dimples all he likes, Anna tells herself she isn’t going to fall for them. She knows why he’s decided to volunteer at the school, and it’s for the good of his bank balance…not his soul.
But as Anna and Dan are forced to work together for the sake of a truly magical Christmas for the children, sparks fly and they can’t help but wonder what will happen once the festive season is over…'

This story is the 3rd book in the 'Christmas Wishes' Series, now although this is part of a series it can be read as a stand alone which is what I did. It consists of 30 Chapters (and an Epilogue), and tells the story of Anna and Dan. One of the first things you will notice in this book is the instant chemistry that our main characters have. However the characters themselves could not be more different.

One thing to know about this book is that it does jump in time, however it is done in a way where the reader isn't left feeling like they have missed something. It is also done in a very clear way, where the reader knows when it happens and how big of a jump it is.

This book is full of giggle worthy moments that will leave the reader giggling out loud to themselves. Not only is this book full of moments that will leave the reader giggling, it is also filled with those soppy, romantic moments that we all love. This reads as a perfect Christmas read to snuggle up under a blanket, with a hot drink losing yourself in.

What is brilliant with this book and links it with the others in the series is that you meet Gabby and Faith, both of which have their own books. Gabby and Faith are the first two stories in this series and when they are introduced in this book it is done in a way where the reader doesn't feel like they have missed anything if they have not read the first two books.

Now let's talk about the Author, Kathryn Freeman is a former Pharmacist, now medical writer who also writes Romance. She can go from a racing heart due to a medical condition to the cause being a hunky hero. She lives with her husband and two teenage boys. Her husband may not be the most  romantic man around valentines day but his unstinting support about her career change proves love isn't just about Hearts and Flowers and heroes come in many disguises.

Overall I absolutely loved this story as well as the chemistry between Anna and Dan. This story has left me wanting to read the other two books in this series. I guarantee that they will both be added to my 'To Buy' list. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Just A Girl By Becky Monson*

'What happens when the right girl and the right guy meet at the wrong time?

One thing that can be said about Quinn Pearson is that she has a knack for doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. Like, the worst time ever. Take her job for instance. One little slip of the tongue using the mother of all swear words while reporting the news, and suddenly she finds herself with over 18 million views on YouTube and her employment in jeopardy. If that wasn’t bad enough, when she meets the man of her dreams, she nearly chokes to death on a powdered sugar donut.

Thankfully for Quinn, the dashing Brit, Henry, finds her near death experience quite charming. But just when Quinn thinks her luck is going to change, she finds out her timing is all wrong again. Henry is off limits. Or is he? Maybe it’s time for Quinn to quit settling for what life hands her. Perhaps it's time for her to become more than just a girl.'

This is the story of Quinn and Henry and what a story it is full of relatable characters from the off set and choc full of moments that will have the reader falling in love. Their story is told over 26 Chapters (+Epilogue) and is actually the second book in the 'Just a' Series, even though the books can be read as standalones, there is a high possibility that the reader will find themselves wanting the first book.

The characters themselves are very much someone that the reader can relate to. Not only that the main characters first meeting is funny and some thing that the reader will no doubt find completely relatable. When it comes to Quinn's interactions with her friends and family they can be described simply as brilliant.

This entire book is choc full of moments that are funny and other moments that are sure to get the readers emotions involved. The reader will easily find themselves absorbed into this book to the point that they may have difficulty putting it down. The main reason readers will find themselves hooked is the basis of this book that is Quinn and Henry's love story and whether these two will end up together.

Now let me tell you about the Author Becky Monson who is a mother to three young children. At night she escapes by writing and reading books. She is an award-winning author, who use humor and true-life experiences to bring her characters to life. She wishes she had a British accent and loves all things chick- lit. Recently she gave up Diet Coke for the fiftieth time and is hoping this time will last...but it probably won't.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and other readers will adore the relatable funny moments that this book is full of. Not only that, there is also an underlying theme in the book not just about finding love but about accepting yourself exactly as you are. This theme is present throughout the book and is something that we can all relate to. You can get your copy HERE. There is also a giveaway attached to this Blog Tour where you could win 2x $25 Amazon Gift cards, which you can enter HERE. 'On a dare, Faith Daniels tosses a coin into the infamous “Fountain of Love” and wishes for the perfect man, laughing it off as the dumbest thing she’s ever done. Like magic, her quiet life turns upside-down when men begin to appear out of nowhere, like zombies, but drop-dead gorgeous and without the odd limp. A feel good romance novel and a beach read about love, friendship, and living life to the fullest! If you love sweet romance books, seasoned romance, or heartwarming romances with humor, It's Raining Men is for you! Happy Reading.'

This is the story of Faith and her search for Mr Right, it is told over 21 Chapters (+Epilogue) and one thing to not from the get go is that if you haven't read a book by this author this is the perfect one to start with. This story can be described as Romcom at it's best. From the funny relatable moments that everyone can experience to the soppy romantic moments that we all wish for.

From the moment the reader starts this story and joins Faith on her journey, they will gripped wanting to know who out of all the choices available Faith will choose. Within this book there are moments that can only be described as 'LOL moments' as the reader will find themselves laughing out loud.

The characters in this book are loveable and relatable. They have great interactions between themselves and could be the person you pass on the street. Not only that you find yourself wishing for them all to find there happily ever after and not just Faith. Not only that but there is great chemistry between Faith and her suitors.

Let's tell you a little bit about the Author Rich Amooi, he is the Amazon umber 1 Bestselling author of 15 romantic comedies including It's Not PMS, It's You, Dying to Meet You, There's something about a cowboy and Madam Love, Actually. Blog Tour: Blue Skies By Alana Oxford*

'Life isn't always a walk in the park, but when Patrice takes her Pomeranians to the park after a rough day at the office, fate steps in. An unlikely hero comes to the rescue when one of her dogs gets loose. Short, pale, and kind of cute, Seth doesn't have a lot of confidence with the ladies, but he hits it off with Patrice.'

The story of Patrice and Seth is told over 5 chapters although short, this story is the epitome of short but sweet. From the moment the two first meet, their path to love is not smooth but it definitely funny. The entire story is full of funny moments that will leave the reader laughing.

When it comes to the characters the Author certainly created some that were very relatable. This reader found Patrice very relatable and I am sure others will too. The Pomeranians are described in such a way that the reader will be able to picture the little balls of fluff, as they interact with the other characters. Now the main male character Seth is brilliant and very down to earth. He is very sweet in this book and from the image this reader got, cute too.

Both characters make a brilliant first impression on the both the reader and each other. This story is choc full of funny and embarrassing moments that the readers will love. This is a great story and can easily be read in one sitting.

Now let me tell you about the Author Alana Oxford, she is a Michigan author of romcoms, sweet romance and humorous women's fiction. Alana's aim is for her stories to bring sunshine and smiles to her readers. Alana enjoys improv comedy, moody music everything book related and has an ongoing love affair with the United Kingdom.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it has left me wanting more from the author. This was indeed a delightful romcom that all readers can enjoy, with a main male character who can easily be described as cute, nerdy and adorable. I will definitely be keeping my eye open for other books by this Author. You can buy your copy HERE.

Review: Bad Mistake By JC Harroway*

'‘You want my touch?

It comes with conditions…’

The Pleasure Pact was my idea. All because I want Nick Rivers, my brooding, mouthwateringly hot bodyguard. All that control. All that restraint. Now in Milan, I have one chance with him—on his terms. He calls the shots. I deliciously surrender to every naughty, illicit moment. But Nick can't control what's happening between us…or what happens when he shows me who he really is.'

Bad Mistake is the third book in the Pleasure Pact series. I was so excited when I was asked to review this installment as I have loved this series. You can also find my reviews for Book One and Book Two on this blog or by clicking the links provided. The series follows friends Grace, Neve and Brooke, three very different ladies with one singular goal.

This installment focuses on Grace and what she wants out of the Pleasure Pact, which just so happens to be her bodyguard Nick. Their story is told over 17 Chapters (+ Epilogue) and is completely steamy from the very first one. To say that these two main characters have chemistry is an understatement. Brooke and Nick don't just have chemistry, they have hot lustful, flirty chemistry that simmers between them waiting to erupt in their mutual pleasure.

The sexual frustration that is built in this story is palpable and glaring obvious to the reader. Anticipation is strong and sweet in this book and very much a key theme when it comes to Brooke and Nick. Though fear not they do have their pleasure, just  be patient and watch as the sexual tension is built.

Now this story is not all sexy times, though those times are enjoyable and delicious. The story switches point of view between the main characters and is brilliant in showing the reader exactly what is going on in their heads. Not only that there is a hint of a past the Nick is not ready to reveal at the beginning. Though intriguing the reader is let in on this past and it will add to the reasons why you will fall in love with this character.

One thing I absolutely adored was that apart from being very sexy this story started to explore a world that is very different. So different that I have only read one other book that also touches on this world. Now I don't want to give this world away, but it is something that readers will know when they get to that part.

Overall I absolutely adored this book, it may sound like it is full of the sexy bits that we all love but it is not. There is story to be told and the Author does a brilliant job in telling this story. This story is a great addition to the series, and I would recommend this book to everyone. Even if you haven't read the other two books, though I would have to ask why not? You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: What If? By Shari Low*

'1999 - Carly Cooper is 30, single, and after coming close to saying ‘I do’ to six different men, she’s wondering if she accidentally said ‘goodbye’ to Mr Right.

So, Carly quits her job, her flat, her whole life and sets off on a quest to track down all the men she's ever loved.
But there is a problem. Her ex-boyfriends are scattered all over the world and Carly lives in an era before the Internet and Smartphones.
Her Mr Right must be out there, but can she find him?
And what if he’s moved on from the ex-girlfriend who said goodbye?'

This is the story (or you could call it a journey) of Carly, a character that is very relatable and very normal.  The reader will no doubt be able to find a character within this story, if not Carly herself, to relate to. This will make it even more gripping for the reader. Carly's  story is told over 20 Chapters (+Epilogue) and is spilt into 2 parts. One thing that is unique straight off about this story is that every chapter has a song attached to it. Now the song may not be mentioned in the chapter but its like this book has come with its very own playlist. The ideal songs to take you back to the year in question.

Readers will find that this book is easy to get into as the chapters flick between Present Carly and Past Carly. I found that as Carly was telling me about her past relationships, that I had a favorite, one who I wanted to be picked in the end. Although my favorite of Carly's past loves was not the one picked, the ending of this story is still brilliant.

Now let me tell you a little bit more about the Author Shari Low, she is the #1 bestselling author of over 25 novels. This includes One day in Summer, My Month Marriage and a collection of parenthood memories called Because Mummy Said So. Shari currently lives near Glasgow.

Overall I absolutely adored this book, it is 100% relatable which means readers will have a hard time putting it down. It is very easy to read in one sitting and can easily be described as a Laugh out Loud Rom Com. This book will have its readers laughing. Readers won't want to put it down. I know I didn't, see if you can and get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: I Don't Do Mondays! By Colette Kebell*

'How can Mia find happiness?

Lawyer Mia’s picture-perfect dream life in New York is imploding. Her job has become too stressful, she’s exhausted from carrying her friends and what’s up with her striking, wealthy fiancé?
But when life-changing decisions force her to move to Maine, where she’ll face her often critical father and hard truths about what truly matters in life, she re-discovers a passion of her youth.
What begins as a low moment in her life quickly pushes her to consider what she genuinely wants and leads her down a new path where she must embrace the future and let go of the past.
Will this move help Mia to fix her life, once and for all, and will she finally find true love?'

This is the story of Mia, which is told over the course of 48 Chapters. One thing that readers will love is that right from the word go, they will be intrigued and possibly confused. Don't worry the confusion goes away by the end of Chapter 2! However the intrigue that appeared at the beginning will keep the reader going until they have read every last word. Readers will find themselves totally absorbed in Mia's world and the decisions she has to make. Readers will be so absorbed they will find themselves flying through the chapters like there are 8 not 48.

This story is well written and full of twists. Now some of these twists the readers will see coming. However there will be some twists that will catch the reader completely unaware and those are the ones the reader will love. Not only does this story look at Mia's life but also the life of her friends. It's not a quick look at her friends either, you get a chance to be in their head and see how they make their big decisions.

Now let me tell you about the Author Colette Kebell, who is an relatively new author of Chick-Lit/ Romcom and so far has self published her books. Her books are light-hearted, quirky, fun and can be considered as inspirational. Her books have also been translated in Italian (thanks to her husband), as well as French, Spanish and Portugese via Babelcube. Career wise Colette spent her later years as a legal secretary. Her first attempt at writing was many years ago (the book still remains in her drawer), however she resumed this passion a few years back after she got made redundant. After a few book signing events and a book talk (this almost caused her to faint), Colette spends her time between her homes in the UK and in France. When she isn't writing or marketing her books, Colette can be found spending time with her two adorable dogs. She also spends her free time cooking herself and her husband, gardening or designing various items for their home. Her other hobbies include experimenting with furniture upholstery and from time to time you might find a paintbrush in her hand. Colette can be found on Twitter, even though she doesn't tweet a vast amount.

Overall I really enjoyed this book, from the moment I got hooked I found it extremely difficult to put it down. This is my first book by this author but based on this experience it will certainly not be my last. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Tudor Christmas Tidings By Blythe Gifford, Jenni Fletcher & Amanda McCabe*

'Make Merry at Court

…with three Tudor Christmas stories!

In Christmas at Court Sir John Talbot and Lady Alice’s secret betrothal must wait until Henry Tudor claims the throne. Next in Secrets of the Queen's Lady the lady-in-waiting to Anne of Cleves is unexpectedly reunited with a handsome—younger—diplomat at the palace’s festivities! And in His Mistletoe Lady Catherine seeks help from a mysterious Spaniard to free her father in time for Christmas!'

This book is, as you can probably tell from the blurb, is made up of three historical romances. They are all set in the same Tudor time and vary in length. The first one is 'Christmas at Court' by Blythe Gifford. This story literally jumps straight in to the plot and grips the readers attention almost from the first word. It is easy to get stuck into, consisting of ten chapters that will fly by, with the reader greatly invested. Now the story does jump in time but it is done in a way that the reader doesn't feel like they are missing anything.

Now let me tell you a little something about the first Author Blythe Gifford, after spending many years in public relations, advertising and marketing she started writing seriously after a corporate layoff. Ten years and one layoff later, she was an overnight success when she sold to the Harlequin Historical lone. Her books typically incorporate real historical events and characters and set in the 14th to 17th centuries. Blythe works and lives along Chicago's lakefront and The Chicago Tribune called her work 'the prefect balance between history and romance'.

The second story in this book is called 'Secrets of the Queen's Lady' by Jenni Fletcher, this story consists of 9 Chapters. From the beginning of this book it is easy to see that the main characters have a past that the reader will want to know about. Not only that but they also have instant chemistry. This is well written as well as easy to read. One of the best things about this story is the strong female lead, who isn't out there looking for her perfect match.

Now let me tell you a little bit about the Author Jenni Fletcher, she currently lives in Yorkshire where she writes historical romance novels. However she is originally from the north coast of Scotland. She attended Cambridge University studying English before doing a PhD on Edwardian literature and psychology at Hull. She has had 4 nominations for RoNA awards, and won for Short Romantic Fiction in 2020. Jenni spends her spare baking and of course reading.

The third story in this book is called 'His Mistletoe Lady' by Amanda McCabe and consists of 13 Chapters. This story is all about Lady Catherine and the mysterious Spaniard. This story will grip the readers attention from the start, as it is very interesting. What makes it interesting is that there seems to be more going on than what is on the surface. Readers will find this book easy to read and will find themselves flying through the chapters in no time. The character interactions are on point and somehow the Author has made the interactions between the main characters brilliant even before they have spoken to each other.

Now let me tell you about the Author Amanda McCabe, who wrote her first romance at the tender age of sixteen, it was a vast historical epic starring all her friends as characters. It was written in secret during her algebra class; her parents wondered why math was not her strongest subject. She may have never used algebra since but her books have been nominated for many awards including the RTA Award, the Romantic Times BOOKReviews Reviewers' Choice Award, the Booksellers Best, the National readers Choice Award and the Holt Medallion. She currently lives in Santa Fe with a Poodle, a cat, her wonderful husband and far too many books and royal memorabilia collections. When she is not reading or writing, you can find Amanda taking dance classes, collecting cheesy travel souvenirs and watching the Food Network (even though she doesn't cook). Amanda also writes for Grand Central Publishing as Laurel McKee, the Elizabethan Mystery series as Amanda Carmack and the Manor Cat Mystery Series as Eliza Casey.

Overall I really enjoyed this book, each story was unique but at the same time they were all set in the same era. These were all new authors for me to discover and I really enjoyed finding out their style of writing. I will definitely be on the look out for some more works by these three ladies. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Four Letter Feelings By Lasairona E. McMaster*

'Jeremy Lewis has just returned from a year in Europe, ready to start college in Alabama and pursue his dream career in the National Hockey League. Other than boring school work, he’s eager to play hockey, hang out with his new teammates and maybe even rekindle an old flame when Chelsea Davis unexpectedly reappears in his life.
Life is looking pretty darn peachy.
But when his world is turned upside down by a tragic loss, merely surviving each day feels like an achievement. How can he get through college and keep his budding career on track when all he wants to do is drink and squander his parent’s fortune? Can he convince Chelsea he’s a changed man when he seems so intent on his own destruction?'

This is the story of Jeremy and Chelsea, and what a story it is. This book has a very good start and is immediately both interesting and intriguing to the reader. It has 30 chapters which soon fly by once the reader is fully engrossed in this story. This books also happens to be the first one in the ' Jeremy Lewis' series.  The character interactions are absolutely brilliant, and very interesting to see Jeremy interact with Chelsea and his family.

If you are a hockey lover, you will enjoy this book as there are a lot of hockey references. Though this section isn't too much to make non hockey fans not want to read the book. This book is completely gripping and readers will not want to put it down. I know this reader read the book in the space of a day.

One of the most unique things about this book are the topics that come up. The author is not afraid to get into the topics that can be difficult to talk about. These topics include mental health, the worlds expectations when it comes to mental health, sexuality and the stages of grief. Between all these subjects, this book had this reader blubbering like a baby and I am talking big, fat ugly tears. The main reason you may find your self crying are the topics mentioned and because as you get further engrossed in this story the more your emotions will be involved.

Now let me tell you a little bit about the Author Lasairiona McMaster, she writes sassy, classy and badassy women with strong, yet vulnerable men. She openly deals with mental health issues and challenges the readers expectations. She often explores tough-to-handle topics and 'taboos' and books with a whole lotta heart. She can either be found baking sweet treats in her kitchen while singing at the top of her lungs, or enjoying a gin and lemonade by the Irish Sea. When she is 'home' in Texas she can be found at Chuys eating her body weight in chips and queso, washing it down with a margarite swirl, that's if she isn't eating freshly popped popcorn while buying things she doesn't need in Target.

Overall this is an absolutely brilliant book. Even though it had this reader crying, it doesn't dampen the fact that I still want to get the rest of the series as well investigate the Authors other works. This book will leave you feeling like it is a need rather than a want when it comes to the others in the series. You can get your copy HERE.
