Blog Tour: Home for Christmas by Camilla Isley*

'Would you share a bed with your enemy to save Christmas?

Down with a bad case of writer's block, Riven has escaped to a mountain cabin for a prolonged writing retreat. The last thing he needs this Christmas is for his family to invade his sanctuary away from LA. What he needs even less is for a family of strangers as large and boisterous as his own to also be stuck in the same house after a double-booking disaster.

Especially when he ends up having to share a bunk bed with Wendy—a gorgeous, feisty New Yorker who quickly learns how to get under his skin.

Sharing a room with her is sweet torture and Riven isn’t even sure what he dreads more: that every passing day brings them closer to saying goodbye or that they have yet another night to spend together...'

This is the story of Riven and Wendy, their story is told over the course of 45 Chapters. Though when readers have become engrossed in this story, it will seem like nothing. Although this is a standalone book, it is also part of the Christmas Collection by Camilla.

So Riven and Wendy have something in common, which is their profession. They are both writers, though Riven writes novels and Wendy writes screenplays. Their writing is brought up several times throughout this book. Especially since this aspect of their lives helps show the reader exactly how different these two characters are.

Throughout the course of this book readers will get a chance to meet the background characters who really add something to this book. Not only that but right from the beginning readers will love the situation that Wendy and Riven find themselves in and wonder exactly how it is going to play out.

Let's tell you a little bit about the Author Camilla Isley who is an engineer turned writer, who quit her job to follow her husband on an adventure abroad. She is a cat lover, coffee addict and shoe hoarder. Beside writing, she loves reading (duh), cooking, watching bad TV and going to movies - popcorn please. She is a bit of a foodie, nothing too serious. Camilla is a keen traveller who knows mosquitoes play a role in the ecosystem, and doesn't want to starve all those frog princes but could really live without them.

Overall if you are a fan of enemies to lovers you will adore this book. From the laugh out loud moments that will leave readers adore but also they will fall in love with the characters. This book is a true romcom in every sense of the word.  You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: A Laird for the Governess by Catherine Tinley*

'A penniless governess

And the dour Laird of Ardmore

Lydia Farnham must travel to a remote Scottish island to work for widower Alasdair MacDonald, who doesn’t trust her or her unconventional teaching methods! Yet as his daughter flourishes, so too does the intense connection between Lydia and Alasdair. Only she should know better than to fall for the handsome laird when it could leave her without a job, or a home…'

This is the story of Lydia and Alasdair, which is the first book in Catherine's brand new series called 'Lairds of the Isle'. If this book is anything to go by, this is going to be a great series. Lydia and Alasdair's story is told over the course of 18 chapters. Although this may not seem a lot the author has used these chapters wisely.

Although this is the story of Lydia and Alasdair, there's is not the only one that is told. The background characters also have their own stories. What's more is that these background characters are just as easy to fall in love with. Readers will enjoy learning about them and their stories.

Let me tell you a little bit about the Author Catherine Tinley. She is an award winning author who writes witty, heartwarming, Regency love stories for Harlequin Mills & Boon. She has loved reading and writing since childhood, and has a particular fondness for love, romance and happy endings. After a carer encompassing speech & language therapy, NHS Management, maternity campaigning and being President of a Charity, she now works in Sure Start. She lives in Ireland with her husband, children and dog. She can be reached at www.catherinetinley.com, as well as www.facebook.com/CatherineTinleyWriter and @CatherineTinley on twitter.

Overall this is a brilliant start to this new series. It will wet readers appetite and have them wanting to go and buy the rest of this series. Not only that but readers will easily get stuck into this book and not put it down until they have completed it. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Just the Way You Are by Beth Moran*

'When Olivia Tennyson – or Ollie to her friends – was sixteen, she wrote a Dream List of all the things she wanted for her life, including a happy marriage and a family. But at twenty-nine, Ollie is single, living at home with her over-protective and manipulative mother, and is feeling like her dreams are getting further out of reach!

It’s time for a change.

It’s time to take matters into her own hands.

Without telling her mum, or more importantly, asking her permission, Ollie finds the perfect place to start her new life. End Cottage has a duck-egg blue front door, a garden that leads to acres of forest, and definitely counts as her dream home.

Now all Ollie has to do is complete the rest of her list and find out who she really is, before she can imagine any romance coming into her life. After all, how is she going to find her dream man in the middle of a forest… '

This is the story of Olivia Tennyson or Ollie as she is known to her friends. Ollie's story is told over the course of 35 chapters, chapters that will zoom by while the reader enjoys this tale of self discovery.
Throughout this story Ollie is on a quest to figure out exactly who she is when she is on her own. Now I don't mean on her own as in single, though she is, I mean living on her own and not with her mother. The mother is just one of the background characters that are mentioned in this book. Now alongside the main story these background characters also have their own story that readers get to see play out.
Some readers may find that they relate to the main character Ollie, which will increase how much they enjoy reading her story. A story where the main focus is character finding and loving themselves not someone else. Although romance is found in this story it is very much not the main focus.
Now let me tell you about the Author Beth Moran, who is an author of four novels that includes the bestselling Christmas Every day. She is regularly features on BBC Radio Nottingham and is a trustee of the national women's network Free Range Chicks. Beth lives on the outskirts of Sherwood Forest.
Overall readers will be captivated with Ollie's story which is filled with self discovery and hope. This is perfect for readers who like the self discovery journey. I can't wait to take a look at the other books that Beth has published. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: The Earl's Inconvenient Houseguest by Virginia Heath*

'The earl she loved to hate

…until she stayed in his mansion!

Sophie Gilbert has thwarted the standoffish new earl’s plans to sell his country estate and the quaint village which forms part of it. But when disaster strikes and he offers her refuge, she must reconsider everything about this vexing, determined man. After the heartbreak in her past, it’s a revelation to feel her pulse racing and her body yearning for his touch…'

This is the story of Sophie and Rafe, who do not have the easiest relationship. Their tale is told over the course of 25 Chapters. All of which will zoom by as readers will simply fall in love with not only the characters but also their journey.

Right from the beginning of this book, readers will be fascinated and intrigued about what is going on. The start really sets the tone for the rest of the book in the sense that they get a glimpse into what the characters are like on the surface.

However as you delve deeper into this book, readers will discover that there is a lot to like or even love about these characters. Sophie has a secret that she is not ready to share straight away. A secret that readers will enjoy discovering. Rafe also has things he doesn't want everyone to know about. In fact all Rafe wants is a quiet life, which Sophie isn't going to let happen just yet.

One of my favourite things about this book is that the reader really gets the chance to watch as the relationship between Rafe and Sophie grows. As with any growing relationship, it also changes. This aspect is brilliant as readers get to watch as Sophie's feelings change as the story progresses.

Let me tell you a little bit about the Author Virginia Heath. When she was a little girl it took her ages to fall asleep, so she would make up stories in her to help pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories got more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace her insomnia and start writing them down. Despite that, it still takes her forever to fall asleep.

Overall I absolutely loved this book and the fact that it is the first book in Virginia's new series called 'Village Scandal' just makes me love it even more. I can't wait to see whose story we get to read next. This is one series that I will be keeping my eyes open for. You can get your copy HERE

There is also a giveaway attached to this publication day where you could be in with the chance to win 2 x e copies of The Earl's Inconvenient Houseguest. You can enter the giveaway HERE. Don't forget to read the Terms and Conditions: Worldwide entries welcome. Please enter using the Rafflecopter box below. The winner will be selected at random via Rafflecopter from all valid entries and will be notified by Twitter and/or email. Blog Tour: The Marquess of Yew Park House by Lotte R James*

'A brooding marquess

And a mysterious widow

On the outside Henry Spencer, Marquess of Clairborne, has it all: title, fortune and dashing good looks, but inside he’s haunted by nightmares. Seeking sanctuary at his Scottish estate, his peace is disturbed by a new tenant, widow Genevieve de L’Omont. Her beauty and spirit lead to a growing desire that distracts him from his troubles, but as he unravels a mystery from his past, he discovers Genevieve has secrets of her own…'

This is the story of Genevieve and Henry, who actually prefers Spencer. Their story is told over the course of 27 Chapters (+Epilogue). Throughout this story readers will fall in love with these two characters as well as the background characters.

Both of our main characters have a bit mystery involved with them. Genevieve holds a mystery when it comes to her past. Although there is no need to fear readers as this mystery does get unfolded as you read their story. Henry/ Spencer is just your average Marquess who is trying to figure things out.

This story will keep readers intrigued and thoroughly addicted to the story. When it comes to the main characters they both have feelings that they don't want to share with anyone apart from the reader. The reader is able to see all these feelings when the point of view switches between our main two characters.

Now obviously Genevieve and Henry/ Spencer are the main characters, but readers will also fall in love with the background characters. One set of these background characters are the Marquess's friends who prove to have an interesting story themselves. Though whether the readers will get a full view of this story is yet to be seen.

Now let me tell you about the Author Lotte James, who trained as an actor and theatre director. However she spent most of her life working day jobs, crunching numbers while dreaming up stories of love and adventure. Lotte is thrilled to finally be writing those stories, when she is not scribbling on tiny pieces of paper she can usually be found wandering the countryside for inspiration or nestling with coffee and a book.

Overall readers will fall in love with this book as well as every character they meet. One thing that readers need to know is this book is the first one in Lotte's new mini series 'Gentlemen of Mystery'. I for one can't wait to see whose story comes next. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Is this for Real? by Kathy Strobos*

'Love is all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. Usually, me. I admit it. I’m a relationship-recluse. Ironic, given that I write romantic comedies. So, I’m on a sabbatical from dating.

Which is why fake dating my best friend, Rory, is fool-proof. Rory suggested it because he needed a date for work functions. And I can use our experiences as fodder for my romcom novel.
Plus, my sister doesn’t know it’s not real, and she is thrilled that I’m not walling myself off emotionally. Her words, not mine. But I do wish she would stop saying that she always suspected there was something more between me and Rory. She should realize that we’ve been friends forever so I’m immune to his appeal.
We would never work. Rory is such a romantic; he still believes in that perfect love similar to his parents’ marriage. My parents fought bitterly. So, we are better off as friends. I can’t risk losing our friendship, even if this might be my chance—before his ex-girlfriend wins him back.

Those flickers of attraction? Easily extinguished by cold-water reality—like a two-mile hike in drenching rain over sand with wheelie luggage.

But our relationship is not sticking to the plot—or is it?'

This is the story of Penelope and Rory, they are best friends and this story certainly changes things between them. Their story is told over the course of 46 Chapters  (+Epilogue), though it won't feel like you are reading 46 Chapters. This book has a way of grabbing its readers attention and not letting go until you have finished it in it's entirety.

You jump straight into the thick of the story with this book. Straight into the build up of anticipation and definitely straight into the addictive text that will keep you occupied. One thing that makes this book easy to get stuck into is the relatable characters. I found myself being able to picture people I knew and relate them to the characters or that could have been me relating to the main character Penelope.

Now let me tell you a bit about the Author Kathy Strobos, who lives in New York City with her husband and two children. Kathy has a growing collection of books, toys and dollhouses. She grew up in New York City and graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Harvard-Radcliffe University magna cum laude. Previously she has worked as a lawyer. However she left law to pursue her dream of writing fiction full-time and getting in shape. She is still working on getting in shape,

Overall if you are a fan of slow burn, friends to lovers romances than you need to go get a copy of this book. Although it is a standalone book it is also apart of the 'New York Friendship' collection. This in itself intrigues this reader as I want to see who came before them and who is next. You can get your copy Here
