As you guys probably already know Fifty Shades Freed is the final part in the best selling Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy by E.L. James. It was finally released on Friday 9th February 2018, and as a fan I went and saw it that night with my good friend.
I will admit I had read some pretty bad reviews before this movie came out, but I prefer to make my own opinion and I had been waiting for this movie for nearly a year. I figured this movie wasn't going to have glowing reviews since none of them had. The words 'Lack of Chemistry' have been thrown around a lot in relation to this series, but as a fan of the book series this film was beyond my expectations.
I will admit they did miss out part of the book, but a lot happens in that final book. However they may have missed somethings out, they did add a new scene. This film was great at ending everything in a nice little bow. Here's a hint if you do decide to see this movie, make sure you stay until after the credits roll. There is a nice little scene at the beginning of the credits that really finishes the trilogy right.
One of the best parts about this movie was that Ana finally grew a back bone that was severely missing in the first two movies. Now I know that Ana wasn't meant to have a back bone in the first two movies as she came into this series inexperienced. However now she finally has found her back bone, this really worked in the movie and in their relationship.
The soundtrack to this film is really good and I have to admit I was not a fan of the song ‘For You’ by Rita Ora and Liam Payne. However now I have heard where they have put it in the movie, I kinda love it.
