Blog Tour: Flying Solo By Zoe May*

'Rachel Watson has it all worked out. By 30, she’s ticked off most of the goals on her Life List. She’s a home owner, a partner at her law firm, she has a gorgeous boyfriend, lots of hobbies and loads of good friends. The only thing that’s missing is a ring on her finger.
According to her Life List, Rachel should be getting hitched around now, so when her boyfriend, Paul, plans a romantic date, Rachel’s pretty confident he’s going to propose. Except Paul has other ideas. He’s jetting off to India to find himself.
Distraught, Rachel doesn’t know what to do. Not one to easily admit defeat, she embarks on a mission to win him back.
Flying solo to India is definitely not part of Rachel's plans, but could her trip teach her unexpected lessons about love, life and herself? Could she realise that perhaps her Life List wasn’t exactly what she wanted, after all?'

This story consists of 19 Chapters and is about Rachel Watson, who is a very relatable character. She has her life mapped out in what she calls her 'Life List'. I found this fact very relatable. I don't think everyone will admit it but I think there are things we all want to get done by a certain age.

The story is well written and easy to read. By the time Rachel got to India this reader was addicted and didn't want to put the book down. The descriptions of India and Rachel's experience there makes the reader feel like they are alongside Rachel in her journey. This feeling is intensified when you realize this is the kind of book that stays with you long after you finish reading the book.

Now let me tell you a little bit about the Author Zoe May, who lives in southeast London writing romantic comedies. Since she was a teenager she dreamt of being a novelist. Before her debut novel (Perfect Match) came out, Zoe worked in journalism and copywriting. Zoe chose to write a novel about dating, after experiencing the London dating scene first hand and seeing its endless supply of weird and wonderful material. When she isn't writing you can find Zoe walking her dog, painting and reading. She adores animals, meaning that if she isn't taking a picture of a vegan meal you can find her tweeting about the dairy industry. Zoe is half Greek/ half Irish and can whip up a mean baklava. After spending several years working as a fashion copywriter, Zoe has an encyclopedia knowledge of handbags to the point that she could win Mastermind if it was her specialist subject. Zoe also has a thing for India, swimming, horror films, hip hop and Radiohead.

Overall I enjoyed the this book immensely. It caused a book hangover which basically means long after I finished this book it was still in my head and still had me thinking. I highly recommend you guys read this book. You can get your copy HERE.

Until Next Time
