Review: Taking A Shot By Taryn Leigh Taylor*

'Hockey star Brett Sillinger's never been afraid of a little trouble. But when his personal life ends up in the tabloids, he knows his career is on thin ice. Luckily, a new team decides to take a chance on him. All he has to do is keep head in the game. But when temptation walks up wearing black knee-high boots, looking for one night of nameless, no-strings passion, well, what's a guy to do?
Chelsea London is looking to misbehave. What's being good ever gotten her, besides getting dumped and passed over for a big promotion at work? But her one delicious night of rebellion has unexpected consequences--her hot one-night stand is the latest addition to her father's hockey team. And suddenly, one night of bad-girldom isn't nearly enough.
But one false move, and Brett might spend this season in the penalty box...'

The chemistry between Brett and Chelsea is alive and well in this book. From the word go Taryn has you intrigued not only by the characters but also by their chemistry.  I mean you start to wonder how good girl Chelsea will handle bad boy Brett, how they will or won't they work. The chemistry is at the fore front of this book and develops throughout the story, which will have you gripped from the first word.

One of the many things I loved about this book was the way as you are reading you think you are coming to the end, but then out of nowhere comes a twist. Now I'm not saying I wanted this story to end so I fell in love with the twists. I mean you think everything is rosy and BAM there is a twist. These twists certainly kept this book exciting and keep you the reader wanting more.

This book also mentioned a few other people who given that you were given a back ground, I'm sensing they have their own story that I now want to read. This book makes you want more from this author! More books, more chemistry and definitely more hockey players.

Now I must admit there are three authors that I love to the point that I want their entire collection (Lindsey Kelk, Diana Palmer & Rachael Stewart) and I can say that Taryn Leigh Taylor is now among those authors. I mean I now own 5 of her books including this one.

My final thoughts are that this book is not one you want to miss out on! It has chemistry and a plot that keeps you turning the page again and again. I loved everything about this book and the possibility that there is more in this series 'Montana Wolfpack' and more connected in earlier works. The only downside, as I have found out, is that this will not be the only Taryn Leigh Taylor book in your collection. You can start your collection with this book and buy it HERE.

Blog Tour: Snowflakes Over Moondance Cottage by Rosie Green*

'When Jess Rigby lost her dad, the family coped in different ways, alone in their grief. Now, her mum seems to be going off the rails and her sister, Isla, who moved to France, is now back and determined to get the old family home on the market. But the last thing Jess wants this Christmas is for renovations to start on the house. It's sure to stir up old memories she's desperate to forget. And to make things worse, Isla seems to have hired the most obnoxious builder in the world to do the work. Jess could ignore the fact that women seem to be putty in his hands. But what she finds harder to ignore is the frisson she gets every time she squeezes past him in the mess that is now their beloved family home! Soon, the house begins to give up its secrets, some of them shocking. Can the family finally start talking and find a way to move on from the past this Christmas?'

Now I want to start off by saying I did find this book hard to get into. This is not to say that I didn't like the book or enjoy it, but I personally found myself reading a few chapters and then leaving it.That is until I got to Chapter 20, where I found myself addicted.

So one of the first things I noticed when reading this book is that the main theme was family in my eyes. It did have all my favorites things about romance but I found that it was an underlying theme. It was enjoyable to read a book where family was front and center.

Now Jess and Isla could not be more different, which is something that I can relate to personally, which made the book even more enjoyable. Not only that the Family Dynamic is interesting and intriguing the further you get into the book. This alone makes you keep turning the pages to find out more.

Let's tell you a little bit more about the Author Rosie Green, she has been scribbling stories since she was little. In the past they were rip roaring adventure tales with a young heroine in danger of being tide up by the 'baddies' or falling off a cliff. Nowadays Rosie much prefers to write romantic comedies that melt you heart, make you smile and not much danger involved- unless you count the heroine losing her heat in love. Her new series of novellas is centered around life in a village cafe, the latest is 'Bonfires & Hot Chocolate at the Little Duck Pond Cafe'. Keep an eye out for 'A Winter Wedding at the Little Duck Pond Cafe' coming Christmas 2019.

Overall I enjoyed this book, it was very well written and the fact that the romance wasn't the main theme was refreshing. I saw similarities between parts in the book and my own life, which made this book an even more interesting read. I highly recommend you check this book out and you can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: Naughty Or Nice by Rachael Stewart*

'She's setting the terms…
In business and pleasure!
Lucas Waring was my brother's best friend—before he broke my heart and betrayed my family. Yet one glance from those dark, intense eyes, and that bolt of aching need returns. Now Lucas wants my business. But the nice Eva he knew is gone forever and naughty Eva wants her cake, and a taste of deliciously hot Lucas, too. Only my heart's about to pull the biggest betrayal of all…'

I am wondering how to put into words, how much I loved this book! I mean the descriptions are on point. I feel like I can picture these places, like I can see myself in the different locations. Not only that but the story is told from both Lucas's and Eva's point of view, with a clear indication of when it changes. It was amazing to be in Lucas's mind and see what he wasn't admitting to Eva.

Speaking of Lucas and Eva, I could not write a review without mentioning the sizzling chemistry that these two have from the get go. I mean this book is beyond hot and beyond anything I have ever read before. I feel like my phone/Kindle should have been in flames when I was reading certain scenes.

When it came to picking up this book, I can tell you with absolute certainty that I was addicted from the word go. I mean I read this book in a day, possibly less than 24 hours but I didn't look at the clock when I finished. The only bad thing that you could say about this book is that it is too short. Not in the, the story didn't way, more in the I want to continue reading about Eva and Lucas. The end of the story was brilliant and stayed true to the Characters nature.

So let me tell you about the Author Rachael Stewart, she adores conjuring up stories for both Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press. The books vary from heart-warmingly romantic to wildly erotic. Rachael is living her own dream of being a full time writer, even though her degree was in Business Studies and she spent many years in the corporate world. Originally from Wales, Rachael now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children. When she isn't wrapped up in her children, you can find her glued to her laptop or enjoying the great outdoors seeking inspiration.

This review will not be doing this book justice, I can tell you that. I don't know how I can convey to you how much I enjoyed this book. It was simply amazing. I can say this with certainty, Rachael has one upped herself with this book. I mean I thought she was amazing with the previous books I have read. Yet somehow this one is amazing and unique in it's own way.The best part is that it is available NOW. You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: It's Not PMS, It's You by Rich Amooi*

'Ruth “Ruthless” Harper is on the verge of becoming managing partner at her all-male consulting firm and she won’t let anything stand in her way. That includes men, relationships, and that dreaded F word, FEELINGS—distractions she eliminated long ago.

After the worst day ever (a near-death experience and a public wedgie, for starters), Ruth realizes she doesn’t want to live and die alone. She puts together a business plan to find the perfect man and dives head first into the murky online dating pool. All she wants is a high-powered executive who understands how important her career is. If only it were that easy.

Problem is most men are intimidated by Ruth’s confidence and shocked by her bluntness. The exception being her landscape designer, Nick, whose cool demeanor and unsolicited dating advice are driving her nuts. He’s the antithesis of the business-oriented man Ruth envisions for herself, so why do all signs keep pointing back to him?'

Ruth is the ultimate girl boss in my eyes. I mean she is confident, career focused and goes after what she wants. Ruth also will not let any man tell her what to do. In comes Nick, who sounds utterly gorgeous who isn't a fan of the career women.

The characters within this book are so relatable and engaging to the point that you can easily fall in love with them. They also have some amazing chemistry that they both try and fight. Between the two personalities and the chemistry the laughs are definitely guaranteed from the beginning. I'm talking laugh out loud funny!

Let's tell you a little bit about the Author Rich Amooi. A former Radio personality and DJ who now writes romantic comedies full time in San Diego. Rich believes in public displays of affection, silliness, infinte possibilities, donuts, gratitude, laughter and happily ever after. He is happily married to a kiss monster imported from Spain.

After reading the first two chapters of this book I knew I would love it, and I wasn't wrong. This is the kind of book that you will find easy to get stuck into. I mean it is so easy to get stuck into this book that you soon find yourself finishing the entire book. This book is a romantic comedy, and I could see it being a hit if it was a movie. You can get your copy HERE.

In addition to a Blog Tour there is also a Giveaway giving you the chance to win a $25 Amazon Gift Card. To be in with the chance to win you can enter HERE. Blog Tour: Magic Under The Mistletoe by Lucy Coleman*

'Christmas and romance are in the air...

It's December 23rd and while everyone else is rushing home for the holidays, workaholic Leesa Oliver is dreading switching on her out-of-office for the festive season. And it seems her equally driven boss, Cary Anderson, isn't relishing spending Christmas at his family's country estate either.
So together, they draft an unexpected Christmas contract: They'll spend half of the holidays with each other's families, pretending to be a couple. Leesa knows the insufferably good-looking Cary will make her Christmas more bearable, but what happens after the last of the mince pies have been eaten...?
Leesa signed off on a sensible business agreement, but somewhere, amongst the fairy lights and carols something seems to have changed... It seems there might just be some magic under the mistletoe this Christmas!'

Leesa and Cary are the main characters of the story and are so similar and completely different all at the same time. I mean Leesa can handles matters of the head with ease but can sometimes struggle when it comes to matters of the heart, Cary is the same. Reading about their relationship within this book, its nice to see how they develop throughout the story.

I have never read place descriptions like I have in this book. The descriptions are so detailed that you can clearly picture all of the locations with ease, I would personally love to visit. The details are not lacking in this book and the book is better with them. Time can be passed quickly within this book, several months going by between chapters. However it is done in such a way that adds to the book instead of taking away and you don't feel like you have missed anything.

Let's tell you a little bit about the Author behind this book Lucy Coleman. Lucy Coleman is actually the pen name for Linn B Halton, she went from interior designer to author, she has written more than a dozen novels. She is excited as she writes for both Aria Fiction (Head of Zeus) and Harper Impulse (Haper Collins), she is represented by Kataria Literary Agency. When she isn't working you can find her upcycling furniture, spending time with her family or working in the garden. Linn has won the 2013 UK Festival of Romance: Innovation in Romantic Fiction awards, her novels have been short-listed in the UK's Festival of Romance and the eFestival of Words Book Awards. She lives in Coed Duon within the Welsh Valleys with her 'rock' Lawrence and Bengal cat Ziggy. She admits that she is an eternal romantic. She writes feelgood, uplifting novels about life, love and relationships and is a member of the Romantic Novelists Association and the Society of Authors.

My final thoughts on this book are that it is a great read and very well written. It definitely gets you in the mood for the upcoming festive season without being a Christmas read. Meaning you can read this lovely book at any point during the year.  I will admit that I did find it hard to get stuck into this book at first. But then suddenly somewhere around Chapter 20  I was addicted, to the point that I finished it that night. You can get your copy HERE.

In addition to this blog tour there is also a Giveaway, where you could be in with the chance to win a signed paperback copy of Snowflakes over Holly Cove and Christmas Pamper Pack. You can enter the Giveaway HERE. Blog Tour: Lucy Mathers Goes Back To Work by Julie Butterfield*

'Lucy Mathers was once the golden girl of Simcock & Bright. Four years later, she’s a stay at home mum with two adorable children, has swapped her Louboutins for rabbit slippers and spends her day making crustless sandwiches and colour co-ordinated lunches instead of signing up high profile clients.

When her husband is suddenly made redundant, there is panic in the Mathers’ household. With a mortgage the size of the national debt and a credit card balance that’s in danger of toppling, Lucy reluctantly decides she must return to work. So she digs out her old power suits from the back of the wardrobe and leaves Will to become a house husband. But sitting in Lucy’s old office is Grant Cassidy, suave, handsome and ruthless and with no intention of letting Lucy walk back into the number one job.
At home, despite his breezy declaration that swapping boardroom battles for toddler groups would be a doddle, Will’s belief that parental issues could be solved with forward planning and a spread sheet soon falls by the wayside.
With both Will and Lucy struggling to adapt, could their previously happy marriage be developing some cracks?'

This book is the perfect book to show you what switching roles is all about. This is the perfect example of a gender role switch up and I loved it. Within in this book you get to see both Lucy and Will's point of view, which gives you a great insight into what they are both really feeling.

You have Will the guy who is usually in for bed time and fun on the weekends and thinks he can be a house husband with ease. Then you have Lucy whose whole world has resolved around her children for a few years, going back to the daily grind. Lucy works on getting her groove back and proves to the reader that you shouldn't under estimate a woman.

Overall this book had some funny moments that make you want to laugh out loud and at the same time it would pull on your emotions. This just added to the story as it made the characters more human, more relatable and more real. You begin to feel like you know Lucy and Will, as you end up invested in seeing where this role swap takes them and whether they can come out the other side unscathed.

Now let's tell you a little bit about the Author Julie Butterfield, who belongs to a large group of authors 'who always wanted to write' and finally found the time to put pen to paper or rather fingers to keyboard. Her first book was written purely for pleasure and she was very surprised to find that many people enjoyed the story and wanted more. So she decided to carry on writing, I personally am grateful for this.

My final thoughts are that I thought this book was absolutely amazing. So much so that I got sucked in at Chapter 23 and didn't stop reading until Chapter 36. I then had to finish the book before I could go to sleep that night. I was sucked in and enjoyed every single moment. I highly recommend you pick up a copy HERE.

As a special addition to this Blog Tour there is also a Giveaway where you could win a paperback copy of this book. You can enter HERE. Make sure you read the Terms and Conditions below: UK entries welcome.  Please enter using the link.  The winner will be selected at random via Rafflecopter from all valid entries and will be notified by Twitter and/or email. Blog Tour: The House That Alice Built by Chris Penhall*

So I was attracted to this book by the amazing cover and the blurb. It sounded like something I would love to do. I mean who doesn't want to drop everything and go to another country. Check out the blurb below and see what your first impression is.

'Home is where the heart is …
Alice Dorothy Matthews is sensible. Whilst her best friend Kathy is living it up in Portugal and her insufferable ex Adam is travelling the world, Alice is working hard to pay for the beloved London house she has put her heart and soul into renovating.
But then a postcard from Buenos Aires turns Alice’s life upside down. One very unsensible decision later and she is in Cascais, Portugal, and so begins her lesson in ‘going with the flow’; a lesson that sees her cat-sitting, paddle boarding, dancing on top of bars and rediscovering her artistic talents.
But perhaps the most important part of the lesson for Alice is that you don’t always need a house to be at home.'

So one of the first things I noticed about this book was that it is very easy to read. By this I mean you soon find yourself zooming through the chapters. I mean the story flows so well, that even though a few weeks is passing in the book it is not made obvious which I enjoyed immensely.

So as in every romance there is a Prince Charming, whether he is there to save the day or just sit in the background until our main girl needs him. Now in this book I found myself questioning whether he was Prince Charming or Mr Mysterious. I loved that factor though because it go you thinking. This factor also added some extra depth to this character.

One thing that will really draw you to this book, apart for the descriptions of this Place (I really want to go now!) is the way it sounds like Paradise and it is a completely real life situation that Alice is going through. I mean from the beginning you are thrust into her world, it was all very normal. Its a situation I can imagine a friend telling me about. This in mind, it makes the book very relatable.

Now let's talk a little bit about the Author Chris Penhall, a freelance writer and radio producer who is also a member of the Romantic Novelists Association. Winner of the 2019 Choc-Lit Search for a Star Competition (with this book!) Chris was originally born in South Wales but has lived near London and Portugal. When she lived in Cascais near Lisbon (where the book is set) she began to dabble in writing fiction, but it was years later that she was confident enough to start her first novel. Many years after, she finally finished it. She is currently working on her second. Chris is a lover of books, music, cats and is an enthusiastic salsa dancer, a keen cook and loves to travel. She is never happier than when she is gazing at the sea. Chris currently lives in the Essex countryside and has two grown up daughters.

Overall I enjoyed this book immensely. Reading the story and the descriptions of the gorgeous is enough to add it to my holiday list. This is a great summer read and is available now. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Reach For A Star by Kathryn Freeman*

'What if your dreams were so close you could reach out and touch them?

How could anyone resist Michael Tennant, with his hypnotic blue eyes and voice like molten chocolate? Jessie Simmons certainly can’t. But Jessie’s a single mum who can’t sing to save her life – there’s no way she’ll ever cross paths with the star tenor.

At least that’s what she thinks until she’s unexpectedly invited to take part in a new reality TV show. The premise? Professional singers teach hopeless amateurs how to sing. The surprise? Jessie’s partner is none other than Michael Tennant!

As she becomes better acquainted with the man behind the voice, will Jessie find out the hard way that you should never meet your idols? Or will she get more than she bargained for?'

This book is all about taking a chance and following your dreams. It's also very real and could happen to anyone which I love. The whole story is just amazing! I mean the author has written the story in a way that all 36 Chapters simply fly by. It's so well written and flows effortlessly.

The story of Jessie and Michael is, to say the least addictive.  It is so easy to get caught up in their lives and their story. I mean I will say their story is not all Roses and smooth sailing but the bumps in the road add to this story. Not only that the bumps in the road aren't far fetched, they are genuine bumps that could happen in the everyday life, which makes this book so much more relatable.

So when I said this book was addictive (in the best possible way), I meant it. I mean I went from Chapter 15 to done in less than 24 hours. I had trouble putting the book down saying 'One More Chapter' then finding myself going from Chapter 26-31. I was so engrossed in the story that I didn't register that I was moving through chapters. This book makes you want to know more, you get involved in the Characters and their feelings.

Now let's talk about the Author, Kathryn Freeman is a former Pharmacist, now medical writer who also writes Romance.  She can go from a racing heart due to a medical condition to the cause being a hunky hero. She lives with her husband and two teenage boys. Her husband may not be the most  romantic man around valentines day but his unstinting support about her career change proves love isn't just about Hearts and Flowers and heroes come in many disguises.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of Kathryn's or even if your not, you will like this book. It is everything you want in a romance. Not only that you don't even finish the book after it ends, I found myself thinking about this book  hours after I finished reading it, and that's not in a bad way. This amazing story is available and you can get your copy HERE

As a special addition to this blog tour there is also an awesome Giveaway giving you the chance to win one of Kathryn Freeman's other books called 'Oh Crumbs'. You can enter the Giveaway HERE. Make sure you read the Terms and conditions which are below:

Blog Tour: Make It Up To You by Lucy Keeling*

So the moment this Blog tour dropped into my inbox, I knew I needed to take part. I had just posted on twitter that I had wanted to read it after reading the blurb that the Author had posted. So to see this pop into my inbox felt like fate. Not only that but it is to do with a wanna be You tuber so doesn't that just say read me. Check out the Blurb and let me know what you think.

'What do mascara wands and gardening shears have in common?

Absolutely nothing! At least that’s what wannabe beauty influencer Sophie Timney thinks when her friend Polly suggests involving her brother Marcus in Sophie’s make-up tutorials. She needs more views, Marcus needs promotion for his gardening business – in Polly’s mind joining forces will help them both. Sophie isn’t so sure.
Because Marcus Bowman has a habit of getting under her skin in a way that no exfoliating face scrub ever could. But, as the views and comments on her videos begin creeping up, it becomes increasingly obvious that Sophie’s subscribers like Marcus, and what’s even worse is that Sophie might be starting to feel the same way …'

Now we talk about books being easy to read and this one certainly fits the profile. From the minute I started reading I was hooked wanting to know more and read it all. I mean what do you expect when you put a wanna be You Tuber, a Hot Gardner and a whole lot of Chemistry together. It's clear from the moment that Marcus and Sophie appear there is more to them then meets the eye.

The book is relatable and the perfect read for your evenings. I soon got sucked into the story and wanting to know what happens next. It's easy to fall in love with these characters and the journey they take in the book. There are also parts which make you want to laugh.

The story does not just focus on Sophie and Marcus, though they are the main characters, you also have the rest of their friends. The friends Mya, Polly, Paige Joseph and Bailey who all play their part in this story but not only that they also add intrigue.  I don't want to say too much and give anything away but this reader definitely wants to know more about these Characters. Fingers crossed Lucy Keeling brings out a book about these friends.

So let's talk about the Author Lucy Keeling, an author who writes fun, sexy stories with all of the happy ever afters. If she's not at her Kitchen table typing you can find her arranging and then rearranging to meet up with her friends for some day drinking. Lucy is currently working on her third book in a Contemporary Romance series, the first was Short Listed in Choc Lit's 'Search For a Star' Competition.

Overall I loved this book and I want to know more. I want more of Marcus and Sophie and I definitely want more of their friends. One of the best things is that this book is available NOW! You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: Call Me Maybe by Stephanie Chapman*

'What if you got a second chance with your first love?
What happens when you meet your teenage heart-throb – when you’re both all grown up? When Cassie was fifteen, all she wanted was to marry Jesse Franklin, the bassist from her favourite band, Franko. Now she’s single, in her late twenties and wondering what happened to that teenage dream.
A chance encounter on Facebook soon leads to a transatlantic hook up, and soon, Jesse and Cassie are having a long-distance love affair spanning five thousand miles.
Cassie is on cloud nine – until she hears something that makes her think that Jessie might not be all that he seems. They say never meet your heroes – but what happens when you fall in love with them…?
Are Cassie and Jessie star crossed lovers, destined to be together? Or should Cassie have left her crush in the box marked teenage memories? '

The moment this book dropped into my inbox, I wanted it! I mean let's start with that Title. I love it, so simple and I feel like I should listen to the song while writing this.Plus I can practically hear Carly Rae Jepson singing it in my head. Then you move onto the blurb, it sounded amazing and a little bit like a dream (one I have had myself.)

This book is brilliantly written which makes it easy to read and by that I mean I was easily reading 10 Chapters a Day! Until I got to Chapter 37 then I just finished it. It's so easy to get sucked into Cassie and Jesse's world, to the point where those chapters just fly by!

It feels like the book has everything, it's easy to relate to so you can imagine putting yourself and your boy band crush in the same places. By no means is this book predictable, I mean I found some really juicy scenes that made me want to read them again. This book somehow managed to get me so addicted that my emotions got involved, I won't say which ones because spoilers are no fun.

So let's talk a little bit about the characters Jesse and Cassie, they are soo perfect for each other! So Jesse was the kinda mysterious childhood crush and he gives you an insight into what being in a young boy band is like. Cassie is pretty much your typical everyday girl, an amazing set of friends, a job she enjoys but doesn't take up her entire life. The best thing is throughout this book you switch from Jesse's point of view to Cassie's, which I found really insightful.

So let's talk a little bit about the Author Stephanie Chapmen, a English women born in the 1980's who now lives on the South Coast of the UK. She has a day job that helps keep her holiday budget topped up, and a husband and 2 kids to keep an eye on. She has a healthy appreciation for Bass and the dudes who play them. Franko was inspired by her favourtie band as a teenager. She also has another book out called 'Jetplanes to Jupiter'

Overall I adored this book! It laid out in my opinion every girl's secret fantasy evolving their favorite band. It was quirky, amazing and easy to devour. Oh and it's out NOW! You can grab your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: When You Were Mine By Lisa Swift*

I am so excited for this blog tour, I absolutely fell in love with this concept the moment I read the blurb. Check it out below and see what I mean.

'Life is a love song when you find the right notes

Maggie and Ibby make up a happy – if unconventional – family. After meeting at university, they now live in the village of Applecroft on the beautiful West Country coast.

Okay, so Ibby’s gay and prone to disastrous dates, while couples’ counsellor Maggie spends her days helping people with their relationship problems despite having no sex life of her own. Nevertheless, they’re devoted to bringing up teenage daughter Amelia – the result of a drunken one-night stand when they were students – in a stable and loving family.

Until a face from the past – in the form of hard-partying rock star Jordan Nash – disrupts their quiet lives. As Jordan struggles with his personal demons and old secrets are revealed, can Maggie and Ibby stay strong? Or will bringing back the past threaten all that they’ve built in the present?'

So I have to start this review by saying that I absolutely loved this book! It's so well written and I loved everything to do with it. so let's start with the Characters, they were so well described that I wanted to visit Applecroft for a drink and a chat. I loved the (sometimes) complicated relationships between them all. I loved how they were also so very real. I mean the Marriage counsellor who isn't having sex is so relatable as well as the very lovely Ibby.

Another thing I loved was the fact that it showed you another side of Fame, the side that isn't that glamorous. It was so refreshing to read the book that sounded so real that it could have been a biography. Also I was super excited when one of my favorite TV Shows popped up towards the end!

The story was witty, funny and very easy to follow. You got to get inside the heads of Maggie, Ibby, Jordan and Amelia. I loved seeing these four different points of views play out throughout the book. It was so refreshing to see the different sides come together and how they all fit in with each other.

Now let's talk a little bit about the Author Lisa Swift, a romance author from West Yorkshire here in the UK. This is her first book to be published by Hera Books. However she also writes romantic comedies as Mary Jane Baker for Aria Fiction. Lisa is a member of the Romantic Novelists Association.

My final thoughts are that I can't wait to see what Lisa brings out next! Also I now have another Author to look for in Mary Jane Baker. This book was really hard for me to put down, so much so that I finished it in one day, I mean it has Forty Five Chapters and an Epilogue. Though I have to admit it wasn't until I was re reading the ending before writing this post that I noticed my favorite words hidden within the 'A Letter from Lisa'  section and I quote 'I hope to see you again for the release of book two next year!' I don't know which I enjoyed more this book or that line. The Book comes out 14th August (TODAY) and you can get your copy HERE. I seriously recommend you pick this book up, you won't regret it.

Blog Tour: The Summer House In Santorini By Samantha Parks

Upon reading the blurb for this book I knew I had to be involved in this blog tour. Check out the blurb below and see what I mean.

'One summer in Greece will change everything…
Anna’s running away. From a failed relationship, a dead-end career and a complicated family life.
On the island of Santorini, with its picturesque villas, blue-tiled roofs, and the turquoise waters of the Aegean lapping at the white sand beaches, Anna inherits a less-than-picturesque summer house from her estranged father. As she rebuilds the house, she rebuilds her life, uncovering family secrets along the way that change everything. She starts to fall for her little slice of paradise, as well as for gorgeous, charming Nikos.

Will Anna lose her heart in more ways than one?'

It’s hard not to enjoy this book, I mean it’s a love story that’s easy to read. I love the Charcters of Anna and her family, to all the people you meet in Santorini. The characters are well developed and it’s easy to hope you had someone like them in your own life. Nikos is such a different Male interest compared to every other book I have read. I mean it’s so refreshing to have a different type of guy as a romantic interest.

The descriptions of Santorini itself are completely dreamy. I mean there is the right amount of description so you can picture it in your head which I love. I must also admit that Santorini has also become a place where I now want to visit.

Now let's tell you a little bit more about the Author Samantha Parks, but you might know her by her pen name of Sam Gale. Samantha's pen name came from one of her greatest role models, her late Grandmother Velma Hobbs, nee Parks. Born in North Carolina, Sam now lives in Bournemouth UK with her hubby Alex. She is enjoying a slow descent into her 'Crazy Plant Lady' Status and owns a successful Marketing Company.

Now this blogger completely loved this book. I have seen this described as a beach read, I have to agree. The only thing missing from my experience was a beach. I will definitely be looking out for the next Samantha Parks book. If you want to get your hands on a copy, you can purchase it right HERE.

Blog Tour: Willow by Grace Parks*

The moment I read this blurb I knew I had to read the book! I mean it seems like an opposites attract kind of thing but at the same time very interesting. Check out the blurb and see what you think.

'Can a socialite and a technophobe fall in love?

A bubbly personality and a great job in social media didn’t mean that Willow Lawson had it all. Her love life was distant memory and her social life only work related. The maddening demands of life seemed to get in the way of finding time for herself or her friends.
She starts the Pepper Lane Club as a chance to step away from her busy schedule once a month to reconnect with her friends.
Thomas Greer, the proprietor of the Pepper Lane Café, annoys her. He’s her complete opposite; unsociable, serious, old-fashioned and dead set against social media.
Always game for a challenge, Willow decides to take him on as a client. She’s going to prove to Thomas that he needs her help. She knew she would be successful, she just didn’t know she would lose her heart along the way.

Can Willow fall in love with a man that doesn’t respect her profession? Will Thomas let go of his preconceptions long enough to get to know the real Willow? Enjoy this sweet romance as Willow finds love and friendship in the first book in the Pepper Lane Series.

Six women. Six stories. Six chances of love. One café.
The Pepper Lane Series follows the lives of six women as they share life, love and heartache once a month at the Pepper Lane Club. They might be an unlikely group of friends, but it takes all types to form a tribe.'

So as you can see that blurb just sounds amazing. I am a sucker for a good series and this one being based on a club was something that I knew I wanted to read.

I love the fact that Willow and Thomas also sound like total opposites so reading about their journey was so interesting. I also loved watching as Willow grew throughout the story. The Character development was really done well in this story.

So a big part of this story is the Pepper Lane Club, this is the first book so you really got to see how the club came about. I loved watching Willow interact with the other ladies and seeing how they were getting on. Hearing about these ladies made me excitied to see their stories.

So this book was well written and really flowed well. The club meets once a month which could have been boring but the Author really knew how to move the story along.

Now lets talk about Grace Parks, the Author, she is a sweet romance/ chick lit author who has a penchant for Happily Ever After.

One of the best things I found out was that the other 5 books are out and available to buy. I can guarantee you this, I will definitely be purchasing the rest of this series. If you fancy checking this book out, then grab your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: When Polly met Olly by Zoe May*

Upon reading the blurb for this book, I knew I wanted to be involved in this tour! It sounded like a great romance that was apt to have some comedy thrown in. Check out the Blurb below to see what I mean.

'Polly and Olly were never supposed to meet…
Polly might spend her days searching for eligible matches for her elite list of clients at her New York dating agency, but her own love life is starting to go up in smoke.
Even worse, she can’t stop thinking about the very person she’s meant to be setting her latest client up with… surely it can’t get any worse!
But then Polly bumps into oh-so-handsome Olly, who heads up a rival agency, and realizes that perhaps all really is fair in love and dating war…
Perfect for fans of Sophie Kinsella and Debbie Viggiano.'

One thing I loved about this book where the characters. They were 100% relatable in this readers eyes, which just added to the amazing story. I mean take our main lady Polly, she knows her mind and what she wants to do with her life but that isn't necessarily what she ends up doing. I know a few people in real life exactly like this. Whereas main man Olly has found what works for him and he enjoys it.

So along with the amazing characters you have the problems they experience, which are very real and relatable. With characters and problems that you can relate to, Zoe has made it easy to fall in love with this book. The whole dating story is intriguing and it pulls you in. You want to see who ends up with who,and whether or not your guesses where correct. This leads to a book you simply don't want to put down.

Now lets move onto the Author Zoe May, she lives in Oxford and writes romantic comedies. Since her teenage years Zoe has dreamed of being a novelist. Her twenties consisted of living in London and working in Journalism and Copy-writing, that was until she wrote her debut novel, Perfect Match. Perfect Match became one of Apple's top-selling books of 2018. Having experienced the dating scene first hand in London, Zoe couldn't resist writing about it. When she isn't writing you can find Zoe walking her dog, painting and reading.

I completely adored this book, to the point that I picked it up at Chapter 7 one morning and that evening I completed the book. The 30 Chapters of this book really flew by and I found myself wanting more. If you want to get your hands on a copy of this book, you can buy it here.
