Film Friday #2 - Inception

Ok, so welcome to my second Film Friday. This week I watched Inception. This film is all about a skilled extractor who is offered a chance to regain his old life as payment for an impossible task.

The film is directed by Christopher Nolan, who has directed other films such as Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. The film has a running time of 2 hours and 28 minutes, it was released in 2010.  It is a kind of long film but it is definitely worth  it when you look at the cast. The cast includes stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordan- Levitt, Ellen Page and Tom Hardy.
Now the main reasons for me to watch this film is not the story or any other logical reason. My main reasons for watching this film are Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordan- Levitt.

These guys are just too hot for me to not watch this film.

I was addicted to this film in less than an hour. I mean I got to the point where I needed to watch the end of the movie.
Overall I loved this movie. I stayed on the edge of my seat through out the whole thing. If you don't like the story or the genre. Then simply watch it because of the hot guys, though I do warn you ladies there are sadly no scenes where either guy I mentioned is topless :(

Again let me know in the comments or on Twitter if there are any movies that you want me to watch and mention/ review on this blog.

I ❤ series by Lindsey Kelk Review

This series is all about a woman called Angela Clark and her awesome adventures when it comes to finding love. I fell in love with this author and the main character by the end of the first book. Angela and her adventures had me hooked after two chapters.
Now these books have romance, drama and some funny bits in them. Though I have to warn you that if you're like me as your expression changes when you read, it will be changing a lot with this series.
There are a total of five books in this series so far and after I had finished every book I couldn't wait to start the next one.

The story sucked me in to the point that I squealed and jumped up and down when Lindsey Kelk announced she was releasing a sixth book this Christmas called I Heart Christmas.
I recommend that if you decide to read these books. Maybe you should buy them all because trust me, it will save you waiting until you buy the next one!
Lindsey Kelk is an amazing author and once you finish this series, you will want to read more of her work.

Rating: 5/5 Lemons

p.s. There will be another Lindsey Kelk review in two weeks when my next blog post goes up  :)

Film Friday #1 - Rise of the Guardians

Firstly let me start off by saying that I am sorry if you find any errors in this post, this is because I didn't manage to get it to my editor. Ok so let me just say welcome to Film Friday. This will take place every other week instead of me posting a blog/review.

So lets jump in and talk about this weeks film which is Rise of the Guardians. Now I picked this film as it has recently been on Sky anytime and I have watched it three times. May not sound bad but you don't know one of  my reasons, which I will get into later.

The story centres on fear and believe and centres around all those childhood icons which near enough everyone use to believe in. It stars Santa, the Easter Bunny, Mr Sandman, the Tooth fairy, Jack Frost and Pitch Black also known as the bogey man. Though it reminded me of my childhood I didn't quite picture those icons as they appear in the film but it is still a great film.

Ok so the story goes like this, Pitch the evil spirit has set an assault on Earth, it is up to the immortal guardians to save Earth and protect the children.  Now I don't want to give anything away because I want all you guys to go watch it. This film has even been guy approved and by that I mean I watched it with my Dad and Brother and they both liked it.

Now the stars who voice these animated character's from our childhood are well known. They include Jude Law, Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher and Chris Pine. The film itself is only 1 hour and 37 minutes long, so not lengthy and not too short. But I can guarantee this, after seeing it once you may be inclined to watch it again.

Now I mentioned earlier that one of the reasons for me watching this film three times is not very common. Well I am going to let all of you guys know why now, it's the guy in the photo above. Yes I will admit that Jack Frost is one of the cutest animated character's I have seen. There my secret is out but I'm not ashamed.
Anyway I seriously think all of my lovely readers should go and check out this film. Let me know in the comments down below or on Twitter or instagram if there are any films you want me to review/ mention in my next Film Friday.

Big Girls Series Review

This series is about a woman called Anna Devine and her journey to feeling beautiful. I loved this series for many reasons. One is that the main character is NOT a stick thin girl! Nope, Anna is a big girl. Anna is a size eighteen and happy about it.
Another reason to love this series is it binds romance, drama and sneaks in some (okay, a lot of) erotic scenes. Did I mention that the series is actually called Big Girls do it? No? Oops, guess that bit slipped my mind.

Anyway before you blow this way out of proportion, this series isn't like 50 shades. Not that these books stir longings, shall we say?!
Now the author of this series is Jasinda Wilder, who in my opinion, is bloody awesome. These books are available in both paperback asked kindle versions! The books themselves are Amazon best sellers (erotica) and Amazon top 10 hot new releases (erotica).
Now I recommend this series to anyone who likes 50 shades. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a carbon copy in anyway shape or form, there is only a hint here and there of BDSM. What I mean is, if you liked reading the sexy scenes in 50 shades, the 'Big Girls' books will blow your mind.
I am definitely reading more by this author, and I recommend everyone else does too- you won't be disappointed!

Rating: 3 1/2 out of 5 Lemons.

Maybelline Baby Lips

Truth be told I have been waiting for this product to arrive in the UK for a while. 'Maybelline Baby Lips' is no ordinary lip balm.
So far there are six options available, which are ; hydrate, instant repair, minty fresh, cherry me, pink punch and peach kiss. Now all of them are spf20 and have up to 8 hours of moisturising for your lips. I put the minty fresh one on before bed and when I woke up the next morning, my lips were still soft.

I bought four baby lips: minty fresh, pink punch, cherry me and peach kiss. 'Cherry Me' makes my lips a dark pink with a reddish tint.

'Pink Punch' makes my lips have a dark pink look to them.

'Peach Kiss' gives my lips a peachy look.

In the short amount of time I have used these lip balms, I am already in love with them. I am definitely buying the other two available.
These are perfect for travel and not too expensive at £2.99 each. They are perfect for summer too. A must have for every girls make up bag.
