Blog Tour: The Knight's Convenient Alliance by Melissa Oliver*

'The only man who’s tempted her…

Now poses as her husband!

When an injured knight arrives on Brida O’Conaill’s doorstep, the village assumes he’s her long-lost husband. But her only previous connection to Sir Thomas Lovent was an intense shared moment at a tournament years ago. Brida maintains the pretence while she nurses him, yet once he’s back to full, virile health, she cannot reveal Thomas is not her husband – or that she’s unmarried! – when everyone is expecting them to act like man and wife…'

This is the forth book in Melissa's Notorious Knights series that this reader has been loving. Now the series can be read as stand alone books or as a series. This instalment of the series concentrates on Brida and Sir Thomas. Their story is told over the course of 21 Chapters (+Prologue).

Now the prologue really sets this book up well. Right from the very start it grabs the readers attention and makes them want to continue reading this book. Not only that but the prologue also leaves the reader with questions that get answered as you read the book.

When it comes to Brida readers are given a bit of a mystery about this character. Something that pops up throughout the book, that does get revealed eventually. However this mystery aspect will intrigue readers and keep them attached to this book until they discover what it is.

Throughout the book Brida and Sir Thomas continue to take part in a kind of verbal sparring. This sparring is witty and engaging to the readers. They will enjoy witnessing this sparring and wondering what it conceals.

Now let me tell you about the Author Melissa Oliver, who is from south-west London where she writes her historical romance novels. Melissa lives with her husband and daughters, who share her passion for decrepit, old castles, palaces and all things historical. Melissa is the Winner of The Romantic Novelist Association's Joan Hessayon Award for new writers 2020. This was for her debut novel, the first book in the Notorious Knight's series called The Rebel Heiress and the Knight. If she is not writing Melissa loves to travel, paint as well as visit Museums and Art Gallerys.

Overall this is a brilliant addition to this series. You hear of the other characters throughout this book which will reignite readers love for the series. You can get your copy HERE.

Blog Tour: Strictly Christmas Spirit by Helen Buckley*

'From disco balls to Christmas baubles …
Ex-dancer Emily Williams turned her back on the sparkle of popular dancing show Strictly Dancing with Celebs to help those in need. Now the only dancing she does is teaching lonely pensioners to waltz, and the closest she gets to disco balls is making baubles with the homeless people in her Christmas crafts class.
She’s certainly not star-struck when Hollywood heart-throb Blake Harris is sent to her at short notice for community service, and has no desire to babysit the arrogant actor with his bad boy antics and selfish ways. Christmas might be a time for miracles, but Blake seems to be a lost cause.
But Emily’s reasons for abandoning her dancing passion means she understands the Hollywood wild child more than she’d like to admit. Could their time together, coupled with a dash of Christmas spirit, lead to a miracle change of heart for them both?'

This is the third book in Helen's Spotlight series, a series which I personally love. This book focuses on the story of Emily and Blake. Their story is told over the course of 14 Chapters (+Epilogue and Prologue).  From the very beginning of this book, readers will be intrigued by the characters back stories and the missing pieces.

Emily has a bit of a mystery about her history that readers will be intrigued by. This mystery is discovered evident throughout the book and will make readers continue reading to figure out Emily. Blake also has a mysterious aspect to him, that is slowly discovered by the readers as they make their way through this book.

One thing about these mysterious characters is that readers will be left wondering not only when will they find out the character's truth but also when will the other characters discover it. This intrigue will keep readers gripped until the very end of the book.

This book is very much easy to get stuck into. The characters have back stories that will interest readers and keep them thoroughly enthralled throughout the entire story. Whether you concentrate on the main characters or the background characters, each one of them is facing their own struggle during the festive period.

Now let me tell you about the Author Helen Buckley. Ever since she was little she wanted to be a writer, to turn daydreams into books. She is fascinated by fame, in love with Happy Ever Afters, and enthralled by slow-burn romances. She squeezes in time to write around looking after he two sons.

Overall this book truly is a Hallmark movie that you can read. There is only one sentence that this reader believes can truly sum up this book. This book is truly a great feel-good Christmas read. So grab your fluffy socks, a hot drink and curl up under a blanket. This book will leave you feel all warm and gooey this Christmas Season. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: Snow-Kissed Proposals by Jenni Fletcher & Elisabeth Hobbes*

'A snowy Victorian Christmas

Two festive short stories!

In The Christmas Runaway by Jenni Fletcher: wilful, independent heiress, Fiona MacKay, impulsively runs away to a remote Scottish tower where she’s trapped in the snow with equally headstrong, deliciously dishevelled Angus Drummond.

In Their Snowbound Reunion by Elisabeth Hobbes: fifteen years ago, Amy Munroe and Anthony Matthews were cruelly parted, and each blames the other. When Amy becomes Anthony’s new housekeeper, their passion is reawakened!'

The first book in this duet is called The Christmas Runaway and tells the story of Fiona and Angus. Their story is told over the course of 15 Chapters and set in Scotland in 1892. From the very beginning readers will be intrigued especially since the story begins with a misunderstanding. This book is easy to get stuck into and the point of view switches between our two main characters. A brilliant thing about this story is that the readers really get to watch as Fiona and Angus's feelings grow and change.

This book is also informative on an industry, not to the point that it bombards the reader with too much information. More that it gives the person just enough information to get them interested and then can continue looking into the subject if they wish to do so. This book will have emotions involved, readers will find themselves reaching for a tissue one minute to giggling and laughing out loud the next.

The second book is called Their Snowbound Reunion and tells the story of Amy and Anthony. Their story is told over they course of 11 Chapters as well as a Prologue and Epilogue. Right from the beginning of this book readers will be intrigued with the relationship that these characters share. These characters clearly have a past, which may affect their future. The Prologue of this story really draws the reader in and makes them interested in how the story plays out.

Throughout the book the point of view does switch between the two characters. When this happens it really means that the reader discovers both sides of their shared past. As they make there way through this book they will be eager to discover who side of the story is correct or whether both stories have a resemblance of the truth within.

Now let me tell you a little bit about the Authors first is Jenni Fletcher, who is an award winning author of 15 historical romances. She has been nominated for 4 RoNA Awards and won the Libert Books Shorter Romance Novel Award in 2020. She lives in York with her family and can be contacted via Twitter @JenniAuthor.

Our second Author is Elisabeth Hobbes, whose writing career began when she finished in third place in Harlequin's So You Think You Can Write contest in 2013. She was offered a two-book contract and consequently had to admit secret writing was why the house was such a tip. She is the author of numerous romances with Harlequin Mills & Boon covering the Medieval period to Victorian England, and a Second World War romantic historical with OneMoreChapter. She lives in Cheshire because the car broke down there in 1999 and she never left.

Blog Tour: Partner Pursuit by Kathy Strobos*

'When a workaholic lawyer meets a fun-loving music marketing executive for opposites attract, friends-to-lovers adventures, which partnership will she choose?

Workaholic lawyer Audrey Willems is not going to take any chances with her bid to become a partner at her New York law firm—especially with only six months until the decision.

Until she bumps into Jake—her new neighbor. Jake is a fun-loving music marketing executive who might just be The One.

He’s funny, caring, supportive—and able to kill water bugs in the bathroom.

But Jake will never date a woman married to her job. His father was a workaholic lawyer who never had time for family.

And she’s just got the case of a lifetime—the one she needs to win to make partner. Working 24/7 at the office may not even be enough hours to pull off a victory.

If only she had not met him now.

Audrey is determined to prove that she can juggle work and romance—even if managing court cases, candlelit dinners, and bike rides around Manhattan is a lot harder than it looks. She keeps canceling dates for yet another case crisis.

But when making partner is like a game of musical chairs and the last seat is a business-class alone, which partnership will she choose?'

This is the story of Audrey and Jake which is told over the course of 61 Chapters. From the very beginning of this story readers will be enchanted with Audrey. She is a workaholic by nature but as you read the book, you discover her reasons for being the way she is.

This book is full of cute interactions between Audrey and Jake, these moments are things that readers will adore. This is the definition of a slow-burn romance, the reader really gets the chance to watch as these two meet and get to know each other.

This book is easy to get sucked into and readers will soon find themselves absorbed by the story and interactions. The book is intriguing which will keep the reader interested until the very end.

Now let me tell you a bit about the Author Kathy Strobos, who lives in New York City with her husband and two children. Kathy has a growing collection of books, toys and dollhouses. She grew up in New York City and graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Harvard-Radcliffe University magna cum laude. Previously she has worked as a lawyer. However she left law to pursue her dream of writing fiction full-time and getting in shape. She is still working on getting in shape,

Overall this book will grab readers attention and keep them hooked until the very end. The slight opposite attract theme in this book is something readers will adore. From the first meeting these are two people that readers can't help but route for. You can get your copy HERE

Review: Two for Holding by Lasairiona McMaster*

'Defenseman. Devoted. Dad.
Player on and off the ice, Russell Stewart’s life was upended when his girlfriend got pregnant and left him holding the baby. Two years later, he’s finally moved on, gotten back on track, and is balancing his life as a father, student, and hockey player like a professional juggler.
His daughter Jude is his entire world. He has no time for distractions. Especially a funny, brilliant, and bubbly woman with a penchant for musicals.
Regaining trust after heartbreak is hard. Can Russell protect his daughter, and his heart, when his past comes back to haunt him?
If you’re pucking obsessed with Helena Hunting, Pippa Grant, and Elle Kennedy, you’ll love this steamy, swoony, single father sports romance. Two for Holding is a full length standalone with no cheating, cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
Welcome to the Minnesota Snow Pirates, where skilled and sexy mother puckers’ lives get turned upside down by strong and badass heroines. Curl up with your next book boyfriend today.'

This is the second book in Lasairiona's new The Snow Pirates series. In this book we meet Russell and Sabrina. There story is told over the course of 29 Chapters and I feel like this book should come with a warning because it is addictive as hell! I'm serious clear your calendar and feast your eyes on this Sexy Snow Pirate who is a devoted daddy and his equally sexy match.

Russell or Russ is the epitome of a leading man. He is an ice hockey player, sexy and a devoted dad to a frankly gorgeous little girl. He also has this flaw where he doesn't think he has time to date. Although Russ by himself is a seriously sexy man, add in the fact that he is a dad who wants the best for his little girl, the man somehow gets sexier.

Now it's not all about Russ (even though we wish it was) there is also the love interest in this book called Sabrina. Now Sabrina is sexy and knows exactly what she wants when it comes to her life. She does have her flaws (can't say no to family) but who doesn't. When it comes to Russ, Sabrina knows exactly what she wants and how.

This story is littered with sexual tension between our main characters. Sexual tension that will have readers so glued to the story that they won't notice the chapter changes and will find themselves five chapters further in when they eventually come up for air. But do not fear readers this sexual tension does get resolved in a very delicious way. Somehow though, the sexual tension grows even more.

Not only is the sexual tension immense throughout this book, Lasairiona has also filled the book with analogies that readers will fall in love with. There is one analogy that sticks in my head about a dead car battery and jumper cables. If this exists than I definitely want it in my life!

This book is full of lines that readers will adore. Not only that but the characters themselves will capture readers hearts and make them fall in love with this story. One thing this reader personally adored is the fact that we get to have a catch up with our book one couple Cleo and Linc.

Overall I completely adored this story to the point that I didn't want to stop reading in order to take notes! I can't wait for the next Snow Pirates story and see where the series goes next. I must admit that I am making it official right now. I am officially addicted to this series! You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: White Wedding by Carla Luna*

'Take one lavish holiday wedding. Add one evil ex and his bridezilla. And toss in a smoking-hot chef from the past. It’s a recipe for disaster.

Victoria Blackwood has spent years trying to redeem herself after falling victim to a blackmail scheme that cost her father thousands. So, when he insists she coordinate a big Christmas wedding at her family’s winery, she can’t say no. Even if the groom is her ex, and the caterer just quit.
For Rafael Sanchez, a last-minute call to cater a huge society wedding is a golden opportunity. If he can prove he’s up to the challenge, his brothers might entrust him with a larger role in the family catering business. But when he meets Victoria, he can’t believe his eyes. Five years ago, they had a passionate fling that rocked his world. Until she left him with only a fake name to remember her by.
To pull off the perfect wedding, Victoria and Rafael can’t afford to get caught up in the past. But keeping things professional won’t be easy, not when the attraction between them burns hotter than Christmas in July.'

This is the story of Victoria and Rafael, which is told over the course of 34 Chapters. It is also the third book in the Blackwood Cellar series. The first book in the series was Blue Hawaiian, followed by the second book called Red Velvet.

From the very start of this book readers will discover that Victoria and Rafael have a past, that is not so rosy. This past will leave readers intrigued wondering whether or not their past is something that can be moved on from.

Not only do these characters have this past the lingers between them, they are both also hiding something from the other. This secret could be an obstacle to the couple if they want to get along or even together. One question that will stay with readers throughout this book is can they leave the past in the past and move on?

The situation the book is centred around is very unique and our main character Victoria finds herself in this weird and emotional situation. One that I would not like to be in myself. This situation where Victoria is planning her ex's wedding while having to work with an ex fling, provides the reader with interesting situations. These situations keep the reader enthralled with the story until the very end.

Now let me tell you about the Author Carla Luna, who writes contemporary romance with a dollop of humor and a pinch of spice. She is a former archaeologist, who still dreams of travelling to far-off places and she channels that wanderlust into the setting of her stories. When Carla isn't writing, she works in a spice emporium where she gets paid to discuss food and share her favorite recipes. Her passions include Broadway musicals, baking, whimsical office supplies and pop culture podcasts. Though she has roots in Los Angeles and Victoria, B.C., she currently resides in Wisconsin with her family and her spoiled Siberian cat.

Overall this book is the kind that a reader will pick up and be completely obsessed with until they finish the entire thing. Not only that but readers won't be able to stop with just this book. This one will make you want to read the rest of the series. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: A Match Made In Venice by Leonie Mack*

'When pragmatic, sensible and resolutely single Deirdre York (Didi to her friends) is sent to Venice for work she is determined not to be taken in by the romantic clichés. Winter in the floating city may be breathtakingly beautiful, but she’s here with a clear purpose and will not let the magic of Venice distract her.

Piero Zanetti is the epitome of the handsome yet tortured artist. Heart-broken by the end of his love affair with a glamorous opera singer, he has lost his ability to work, and his inspiration has drained away, along with his zest for life.

But Didi needs Piero working – she has been tasked with commissioning him to do a glass centrepiece for a luxury department store Christmas display – some how Didi has to cheer Piero up or at least find him a new muse…

As Didi and Piero slowly become friends, and as Venice starts to melt Didi’s heart and gently nudge Piero out of the blues, something special begins to happen. Can Venice – the City of Love – work a Christmas miracle and help Didi and Piero to find their happiness at last'

This is the story of Didi and Peiro, their tale is told over the course of 34 Chapters(+Epilogue). Right from the beginning of this story readers will be mesmerised by the descriptions of the scenes where the story takes place. Whether that is romantic Venice or cold London.

Not only are the descriptions brilliant when it comes to the scenary but also the descriptions of the glass sculptures. Not only is the way they look described but also how the light and colour looks. These descriptions give so much detail that readers can visualise what the pieces as well as the places look like.

Throughout this story the point of view switches from Didi to Piero and back again. This gives readers the chance to learn about both characters and what they are hiding from the other person.

Let me tell you about the Author Leonie Mack, who is a debut romantic novelist. She has lived in London for many years, though nowadays her home is in Germany with her husband and three children. Leonie loves medieval towns, train travel, hiking and happy endings.

Overall this is a brilliant book within a beautiful setting that will leave readers no doubt wanting to visit Venice when they get the chance. Throughout the book the readers emotions are kept on the edge wondering how the story will turn out. You can get your copy HERE

Blog Tour: A Christmas Caroline by Camilla Isley*

'Caroline is a cynic career woman living the high life in Manhattan where love and relationships are but a distant memory of the past.

But after a freak accident on Christmas Eve, Caroline receives a visit from a cheeky spirit of Christmas Past, Present, Yet to Come, and—most importantly—Christmas That Could Have Been.
When she wakes up on Christmas Day suddenly married with three kids and living two doors down from her parents in New Jersey, Caroline has a chance to experience the life she would’ve had if she’d made a different choice.
Will small-town life as a mother and a wife make her fall in love again and rediscover what’s really important in life and?
A modern-day retelling of A Christmas Carol…'

This story focuses on Caroline, as you can tell from the title. Her story is told over the course of 23 Chapters and is as the blurb says a modern day retelling of A Christmas Carol. However this is far from the fairy tale that we grew up learning.

The book is similar to A Christmas Carol in the sense that Caroline visit's her past, present and future. However there is a slight twist in this book that really makes it stand out from the original. Caroline gets to visit an alternate universe where she changes one decision from her past.

When you first meet Caroline at the beginning of the book she is very much anti Christmas and anti kids. However as you read Caroline's story you get to watch as she changes and grows right before your eyes. This story truly is character development at its best.

Let's tell you a little bit about the Author Camilla Isley who is an engineer turned writer, who quit her job to follow her husband on an adventure abroad. She is a cat lover, coffee addict and shoe hoarder. Beside writing, she loves reading (duh), cooking, watching bad TV and going to movies - popcorn please. She is a bit of a foodie, nothing too serious. Camilla is a keen traveller who knows mosquitoes play a role in the ecosystem, and doesn't want to starve all those frog princes but could really live without them.

Throughout this story readers will route for Caroline as they watch her journey of growth. Right from the beginning readers will become intrigue in the main character as well as the story in general. This book is also the second one in the 'Christmas Romantic Comedy' Series, book one is called 'Fool Me Twice at Christmas'. You can get your own copy HERE

There is also a Giveaway attached to this blog tour where you could be in with the chance to win 3x e-copies of A Christmas Date by Camilla Isley. You can enter the giveaway HERE.
