Blog Tour: The Perfect Match By Zoe May*

'Can you ever find true love online?

Sophia Jones is an expert in all things online dating: the best sites, how to write a decent bio, which questions to ask and the right type of photos to use. The only thing she’s not so great at? Picking the guys…
After sitting through yet another dreadful date with a man who isn’t quite what she expected, Sophia is just about ready to give up on the whole dating scene. But her flatmate, Kate, persuades her to give it one more chance, only this time she must create a profile describing her ‘perfect’ man.
Yes, he must look like Robert Pattinson and needs to own a multi-million pound business, but there are a couple of other deal breakers, too! So, when a guy comes along who ticks every box, surely there’s got to be a catch?'
This book is made up of 26 awesome chapters. I mean it was the kind of book that from the first page I knew I was going to like this book and easily get sucked into its pages. I'm so glad that my first impression was correct. This book is well written which makes it easy for the reader to fly through the chapters.

One thing that was brilliant about this book is that it doesn't only focus on the romantic relationship aspect, it also holds a focus on Sophia and her friends. I loved seeing these friendships with Lyn and Kate on the page. You see them develop and are told the backstory so you have the context to know how they came to be.

When it comes to the romance this book has it in spades. There is a little bit of mystery in the romance aspect, i thought but it really added to the story. This book wasn't a cut and dried romance where you can see how it is going to end. This aspect made a book a refreshing change compared to other romances I have read. There are also some funny parts that are interlinked to the romance.

Now let me tell you a little bit about the Author Zoe May, who lives in southeast London writing romantic comedies. Since she was a teenager she dreamt of being a novelist. Before her debut novel (Perfect Match) came out, Zoe worked in journalism and copywriting. Zoe chose to write a novel about dating, after experiencing the London dating scene first hand and seeing its endless supply of weird and wonderful material. When she isn't writing you can find Zoe walking her dog, painting and reading. She adores animals, meaning that if she isn't taking a picture of a vegan meal you can find her tweeting about the dairy industry. Zoe is half Greek/ half Irish and can whip up a mean baklava. After spending several years working as a fashion copywriter, Zoe has an encyclopedia knowledge of handbags to the point that she could win Mastermind if it was her specialist subject. Zoe also has a thing for India, swimming, horror films, hip hop and Radiohead.

My final thoughts on this book is that it is a very good book, that deserves a read. Not only is their romance but friendship and a mention of a book that is on this reviewer's to read list. You will have to read it to find out what that is. You can get your copy of Perfect Match HERE.

Until Next Time
