Blog Tour: The Return of Her Lost Knight by Melissa Oliver*

'Her second chance

With her lost love….

To avoid a forced marriage, Lady Gwenllian plans to escape to a convent. She couldn’t possibly honour another when her heart still belongs to Ralph de Kinnerton, the man she had to betray to save his life – only to hear of his death shortly after. So how is it possible he’s here at this Knight’s tournament? Now, the pull of their unfinished past forces Gwen to question the choice she’d made for her future…'

This is the third book int he Notorious Knights series and focuses on Lady Gwenlilan and Ralph. Their story is told over 23 Chapters and is full of secrets that are slowly revealed to the reader. Although waiting for some of these secrets to be revealed can be exciting, as readers will wait with baited breaths as to what they are.

From the moment the readers meet these two character they will be intrigued by them as well as their story. Their story is full of miscommunication and there two sides of the same shared history. The book focuses a lot on the will they/ wont they sort it out and move past the above mentioned history.

One of the many brilliant things about this book is the fact that the couples that are in the first two books of this series are mentioned. This is brilliant for readers who are following the series as it gives them a chance to catch up with the other couples and see how there stories are progressing.

Now let me tell you about the Author Melissa Oliver, who is from south-west London where she writes her historical romance novels. Melissa lives with her husband and daughters, who share her passion for decrepit, old castles, palaces and all things historical. Melissa is the Winner of The Romantic Novelist Association's Joan Hessayon Award for new writers 2020. This was for her debut novel, the first book in the Notorious Knight's series called The Rebel Heiress and the Knight. If she is not writing Melissa loves to travel, paint as well as visit Museums and Art Gallerys.

Overall this is a brilliant addition to this series. It is well written, intriguing and keeps the readers guessing until the end. The Author has the ability to make the reader feel like they are in the story watching it play out in front of them. Readers will love learning about Knights as well as the tournament.
